Car Buff's Auto Detail

These guys did an incredible job on my hardwood repair and were the most responsive in the Nashville area out of the 8 or so companies I inquired with. I was quite stressed about replacing some boards in the middle of my living room in advance of showing my place to a prospective buyer. The owner Warren put me at ease, re-arranged some priorities to fit me in, and his crew did top notch work. I was especially impressed with how quickly he got back to me given that my urgent request was submitted after hours. Thanks for a great job gentlemen!

Complaint[redacted]On July 14th I had my car detailed and shampooed at Car Buffs. When I picked my car up at the end of the day, the seats and floor were still quite wet. The employee who was assisting me told me this was normal, and to leave my windows open for a few days. I told him I parked in a garage and he said that was the ideal environment. I left my car windows down for the next few days, but my car interior developed a bad odour - similar to mildew, like a wet towel that has been left sitting in a corner for days. I continued to leave my windows down, hoping the smell would improve. I was out of town for the majority of August, and hoped that my car would be back to normal when I returned. Unfortunately, the odor is still present in my car, so much so that it is uncomfortable to be inside the car. I tried contacting Car Buff's on Sept 8th 2014 at 9:33am. [redacted] answered the phone. I tired to explain m concern to him and he told me I needed to speak to the manager. I left my name and number for the manager to call me. I did not hear from the manager, so I called again on Wednesday September 10th at 4:52pm. I was told by [redacted] that the manager was not it and to call back the next day. I called back on Thursday Sept 11th and once again spoke with [redacted] who told me that manager was not in. I once again explained to [redacted] my concerns and he told me to bring the car in. That day I drove to Car Buffs at approximately 4:20pm. [redacted] examined my car and smelled the interior. He then gave me the personal number for the Manager ([redacted]). I phoned that number at 4:29pm and spoke with owner. He told me he would call me to set up a time to come in. I told him I was currently at the bussiness. He told me he was on his way there and would arrive shortly. I told him I was going to run across the street to [redacted] in the meantime. I was gone for about 15 minutes, and when I returned the owner had come and gone. I did not realise that he was only going to be there for a few mintues. He had my phone number, but he did not call me to tell me to come back from across the street. I once again left my phone number with [redacted] to have the owner call me. I also immediately called his personal number again at 4:56. No one anwered the phone and there was not option to leave a message. I did not hear from the owner the following day. I called the personal phone number again on Monday Sept 15th at 4:58pm and there was no answer. I called the shop immediately after and [redacted] told me the owner was not there. I asked if the owner was away or why no one was calling me. [redacted] said the owner is busy [redacted]. I also sent the owner a text message on the 15th, reminding him of who I was and what I was hoping to discuss. I have had no response. Desired SettlementI would either like a refund for services I paid for ($173.50) or for the bussiness to remove the smell from my car.
