Review: I bought a 2003 dodge neon from car cage less than a year ago, the car started to over heat, I was 1 day over there 30 day warranty, they said they replaced the thermostat, the car kept over heating, they wouldn't do anything for me, I had to park the car and not drive it while I kept making my payments, finally took it to 2 mechanics both said it's been in an accident, there was frame damage, the brain was put behind the headlight, not where it was supposed to be , many things are wrong with this car, I finally had enough, and told them to come can get it, I sure deed my first car, and they said it would be considered a repo and I will get bad credit, I feel they owe me some money back, or at least should gave made it right for meDesired Settlement: Since they sold me a car that had been in an accident, I feel they should give me my money back, I saved and worked hard for this money, it was my very first car, I feel they took advantage of me, and now I'm getting bad credit because I gave my car back because it was a lemon.

Review: I will like to file a complaint on Car Cage Auto Store Motors. I bought a SUV Infiniti QX4 on 11/16/15 I had one head light taken 3 days for them to fix it. After that and it start leaking oil and I taken again they said it was fix. But its not, they want me to bring in for another try. I had a diagnostic, and found timing cover gasket is gone. Cost too much for me to fix.Desired Settlement: I would like to give the car back and receive a full refund.

Review: On 7/10/14, my father cosigned for me to buy a 02 [redacted] from Car Cage on Stockton Blvd in Sacto. Cali. The salesman my dad & I dealt with was [redacted]. 3 days later I heard a ticking sound & felt a small vibration whenever the car reached a speed of 25mph or more. My father & I called the dealership & told [redacted] what I was hearing. He told us to bring it in where he then assessed that the u joints needed replacing. After keeping the truck for a day, never seeing an old u joint, & picking it up only to hear, later that night, the ticking & vibration had begun again, I concluded, they never corrected the problem. The next day, I called to let [redacted] know the sound & vibration was still there. I ran into another problem. [redacted]'s brother [redacted]. Since I was at work all day, my spouse had to take care of getting the truck fixed. [redacted] told my boyfriend, my father, & myself, that [redacted] wasn't in for the next 3 days of us calling. Finally, my boyfriend agreed, after talking to [redacted], to take the truck in for [redacted] to take it for a spin & try to identify the problem. [redacted] heard the sound upon driving & gave a "guess" as to what the problem was. He then, told my boyfriend that "it wasn't an issue that the warranty covered" . After my boyfriend told me about his visit with [redacted], I felt compelled to call [redacted] because he was who I initially dealt with & who I wanted to continue to deal with. A week had gone by before I got in touch with [redacted]. When I finally did get in touch with [redacted] on the 25th, he told me to bring the truck in again so he could look at it. When I got there, [redacted] looked at the mileage meter & told me I was over my 1000 mile warranty coverage. When my boyfriend tried to tell [redacted] the only reason we went over the 1000 mile warranty coverage was because [redacted] deterred us by saying it was not a warranty issue, [redacted] got very agitated & slammed my gear into park saying he doesn't have to touch the car & for us not to return to his lot.Desired Settlement: I would like for my vehicle to be properly diagnosed and fixed

Review: I purchased several vehicles from this business with my ex husband. The vehicle in question is a 1998 linc nav. Vin# [redacted]. We paid off this vehicle and then bought two more. Title was released and turned over to us, but since has been lost. After informing them I was leaving ca and husband and that I would be taking the linC. And leaving the last car still not paid off with husband. They said they would send me new title. After me leaving nc ex husband totaled last car not paid off. And when contacted car cage refuses to send me another title cause other loan is not paid off. I have the contracts here and there is no mention of holding the linc. Title for the pt cruiser. I have also talked to dmv there and by law car cage is surposed to send in a loan release within 30 days after pay off. Which I called this morning and has not been done. Last call I spoke to steve and he said if I got him contact info for my ex that they would send out title.which I did the best I could. I now own a vehicle I can't do anything with not even register it in nc without the title. I am on disability and can't afford to pay off a totaled car that I left there with full coverage insurance on it when I left. I can't control that it was changed. All I want is what I paid for my title to the linc.Desired Settlement: Replacement of the signed off lean title to my linc. Nav.

Response:

Dear [redacted] ,The title for the [redacted] # [redacted] was signed for by your co buyer Mr.[redacted]and received on 09-11-2010The fact that you or your "co buyer" lost the title is your responsibility not ours.Only the DMV can make a new title.A "lien satisfied" is needed to create a new title. We can send you a "lien satisfied" but DMV requires that the lien holders signature be notarized. Please send a SASE and $ 20.00 notary fee to Car Cage Motors at [redacted].When we have received the notary fee, we will forward the lien satisfied to you so can go to your local DMV and have another title issued.
