Good Year pulled another fast one on me,I was on vacation 3-through 3-22-and I called good year to let them know that I wont be back in town till the 22nd and [redacted] then told me he needs the axle that's on my car now because he took it off another bmw that was in his lot and the bmw was leaving that dayI replied to him why would you put someone axle on my car and I payed your for a new one and he told me to keep it, its goodAfter that conversation I would honestly like a full refund do to poor business not to mention the keep giving you the run around

We have replaced right side axle, and advised Mr*** of additional repairs that the vehicle requires in order to satisfy Mr***’s complaintIt was declinedThe axle that we replaced carries a year warranty; if it is defective we would be glad to

Review: I brought the 2000 Dodge Durango in for engine replacement on August 14 2014. I paid an initial fee of 1500 for the part. I received the truck back on 8/26/14 and paid the remaining 950 . I parked it in front of my house. The following day I attempted to take it for a drive the truck shut down completely. I towed the truck back into the shop on 8/28/14. I have not received my truck back and it's 9/29/14. In addition to that I was told the transmission is in need of replacement. I believe that the business caused the transmission to become none working. I would like for my money back because they did not complete the job in an adequate amount of time or to satisfaction.Desired Settlement: I would like my money returned to my credit card. The repair job has taking over a month and a half. I would also like my money back because now there is an additional problem with the transmission that I don't believe I could have possibly caused.

Review: I purchased a brand new axel the beginning of february, two weeks later my car was shaking again so I went to a tire shop and he said I had a bad tire. After the tire was switched the shaking was worst than before. so I took my car to my friends shop so he could check it for free because I was low on funds. my friend told me that I needed a new axel and I told him I just purchased one from good year. He told me to take it right back to them and get a new one A.S.A.P because my commute to work is far and if it breaks it can cause other damages. Also I purchased 3 new coils and they only replaced one. my mechanic told me thats why my car was shaking and he then showed me that 5 out of the 6 coils were (oem) meaning original parts and only one of them where changed and he noticed because it was an aftermarket part. please help me rectify this situation.Desired Settlement: replace the axel and give me the old axel so I would be assured that they did the proper work to my car.

Review: I HAVE A 2012 DODGE AVENGER AND I HAVE BEN HEARING SOME SQUEAKING COMEING FROM THE BREAKS SO I TOOK THE CAR TO THE NEWARK CAR CARE CENTER TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR. I met with [redacted] who explained to me that I needed new rotors and brake pads on the front the price would be 307.91 I told him fine and I authorized them to do the work. WHEN the work was complete after three hours I asked [redacted] if there were going be anymore squeaking he says no so I pay for the work and take my car the next day the brakes are worse than they were before. I had the work done so I call called the shop talked to [redacted] he told me I takes a week or two for the brakes to wear into the rotors cause there new so I said ok I will wait a week and if the problem persists I will bring the car back and it got wores sqeaking and grinding. I brought the car back and they told me the brakes still didn't set in yet they cleaned out the brake dust and sent me on my way I have gone back every Saturday since august and every time I get the same story I called last week and they told me to come in when [redacted] is there on a week day so I took of work with no pay to take my car in today on 11-4-2013 and they tell me [redacted] called in sick so I see the owner who I have ben dealing with every weekend since august and he has someone check out the car and as he's working on the car I am watching the work being done they take my tires of take of the brake pads and used a hand held grinder and ground them down and put everything back together the owner called me the desk me and said they put new pads on I told the owner I saw what they did and there were not any new pads put on my car he told me they did what they were going to do and that's it as soon as I left the parking lot for the 5th time it was the same squeaking and grinding.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded so I can get my brakes done properly.

Review: On August 22, 2013 I took my car to Newark Car Care Center, Inc for a change of oil, air filter, two front new tires, and a wheel alignment. Prior to taking my car to this car center my car was absolutely fine, it did not have any additional mechanical complications. The minute I drove out of their shop my engine light turned on and my traction control light as well. I came back to the shop and they gave me the round a round, they kept telling me that the supervisor [redacted] was the one who handled my repairs and he was on vacation. I returned when [redacted] was their and I explained to him what was going on with my car after I brought it to them. He refused to handle the problem, in addition, he told me "It might it been the change of air filter the reason why your engine light it is on". I asked him to fix the problem since he is admitting that they caused the problem, but he refused to do it. Now my car is acting horrible, it feels like is going to turn off, and is heating up.

Please HELP! I don't know what to do. I paid them over $600.00 in parts and labor just to have my car in total ruin. Consequently, my co-worker took her car to the same shop and a similar problem occur to her as well. She took her car in to be fixed and she ended up with a different problem that resulted in paying another mechanic to fix the problem that they caused. This is unacceptable and unmoral for them to keep doing this to hard working honest people. They should be closed down.Desired Settlement: I will like to take my car Pontiac G6 2007 to the dealer and have them pay for the expenses. I don't think I should be responsible to pay for damages that were caused by them.

This is a response to Ms.[redacted]’s complaint number [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] did not spend $600 dollars as she stated. The total came to $412.53 including tax and shop supplies on both invoices.

The customer acknowledged that her vehicle is in need of additional repairs, in the right hand corner top of the signature it states heavy tire wear and has a coolant leak, and customer is aware on the second invoice dated August 22 2013 she was told about a coolant leak that this will lead to further damage to her vehicle, the repair was declined she was also told her headlight is out as you can see on the invoice. The repair was also declined for $15.00 to repair the headlight. Ms [redacted] continued to drive her car which has 168,899 miles on it with severe issues that needed to be addressed. Once she was told the amount of both repairs she declined them.

She did return to our facility several days later we put her vehicle on the computer at no charge to her and gave estimates once again. Vehicle at that time overheated needed an air flow meter and some front end work which caused new tires to wear out prematurely.

Please include a copy of the faxed over invoices that shows the injustice and the truth in this complaint as part of our response.
