Finally after waiting almost a month they refunded the rest of my money. Extremely poor customer service. Their accreditation with the Revdex.com should be revoked. If this is the type of business that is in good standing with the Revdex.com, then being an...

accredited business with the Revdex.com means nothing. This company can not be trusted to do the most simple customer service tasks.

A follow-up to my earlier posting. Cathy called me a couple of weeks after my original posting to apologize. She informed me she was going through some family-related medical issues at the time of my service and was away from the office a lot. She asked me what she could do to make things right. She also informed me the crew that cleaned my home are no longer employed by her company. We had a very pleasant and professional conversation, and I am very pleased she called. She also sent me a 50 percent refund. In the end, Cathy did makes things right, and for that I am extremely grateful.

I hired Cathy's Cleaning Service in late April 2016 to clean our "new" home in Warsaw before moving in. I was asked to complete a checklist of the items I wanted cleaned, which I did. The checklist was lost and I had to resend it. The goal was to have the then vacant house sparkling top to bottom before moving in. I was utterly disappointed. What supposedly was cleaned was done poorly (water streaks running down windows, mouse droppings in the kitchen and in the pantry, dust 1/4-inch thick on the fireplace mantel, puddles of cleaning solution on the bathroom sink, numerous items not even touched that were on the list, including windows, which I was charged for anyway. The list goes on, and I took pictures of everything. When I called to voice my disappointment, I was basically told "too bad." I was told that the job was bigger than expected, so they did what they could in the allotted amount of time. Seriously? Not sure why someone couldn't pick up the phone and call me to say the job was bigger than they anticipated and they wouldn't be able to get to everything. Communication would have allowed us to take some items off the list and focus on what was doable in the allotted time. I was also told they couldn't get in the house right away because they didn't know the combination to the lockbox. My relator was on board with letting the cleaners in, so why did they not communicate with her and work out a start time prior to the morning of the job? My biggest frustration is that there was never an "I'm sorry you're disappointed. What can we do to make it right?" Never any sense of responsibility for the shabby work and the work not done. That's just poor business sense. Has Cathy never heard the phrase "The customer is always right?" She wasn't even willing to work with me. How about a 20 percent discount? Shoot, just an "I'm sorry you're disappointed" would have made me feel better. In the end, we had to re-clean EVERYTHING before moving in, which completely defeated the purpose of hiring the service in the first place. Now, $840 later, I urge you to think twice before hiring Cathy's Cleaning Service. There are cleaning companies that are committed to quality, affordability and customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, Cathy's Cleaning Service isn't one of them. I learned that the hard way.
