Thank you for your letter dated August 10, 2015. Upon receipt of your letter we immediately reviewed this matter. Our response is as follows.
Car Credit City has been in communication with Claimant prior to receiving your letter.
This matter...

is in litigation as Claimant defaulted on her Retail Installment Contract & Security Agreement and related agreements (the "Agreements"). Notwithstanding that, we will provide you the facts and an offered resolution.
Claimant and [redacted] purchased a 2005 Ford Taurus (the "Vehicle") from Car Credit City on 11-15-2014.
The Vehicle was parked in a hotel parking lot for some reason unknown to Car Credit City. Apparently, the Vehicle was identified by the hotel operator as abandoned and apparently the hotel operator called a tow firm to tow the Vehicle off its property and the Vehicle was towed to a tow yard.
Car Credit City was notified about the vehicle being impounded and the Vehicle/collateral in jeopardy/Claimant being in default of the Agreements. Claimant requested financial assistance from Car Credit City to retrieve the vehicle from the impound yard. The Vehicle was then retrieved from impound on 05/02/2015.
On 05/02/2015, Claimant called in from her cell phone, inquired if Car Credit City retrieved the Vehicle from the impound yard, and was told "yes" along with the cost to retrieve the Vehicle was $358.00 which was added to Claimant's account. Once the car was impounded, Car Credit City learned that the Claimant had never registered the Vehicle as is required in Agreements and by State law.
Claimant then said she would register the Vehicle and then she would retrieve the Vehicle so it could be driven legally. Claimant promised to reimburse Car Credit City for the fees that it cost Car Credit City to retrieve the vehicle from impound plus the $40.00 for storage Car Credit City further advanced on behalf of Claimant. Claimant said she would call us back when the Vehicle is registered.
No calls came from Claimant. On 6/20/2015, Claimant's Car Credit City account representative called Claimant's cell number, spoke to Claimant about the Vehicle and Claimant's account, but Claimant stated she was not able to speak and hung-upon the Car Credit City employee.
The Vehicle was then processed as a default, and sold at auction.
Resolution. Claimant can call the law firm of [redacted] & [redacted] at XXX-XXX-XXXX who has this account and try to work out the arrangements to pay the balance owed.
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
