Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
installers performed our installation, if you see if the pictures there are door ways into one bedroom, both floors the new carpet meet are vinyl plank and are the same z heightOne installer did the bathroom where he put it in at an angle to compensate the uneven edge, which the edge is only centimeters in difference. We spoke with another professional whom said this is the correct way to install on an uneven edge. This is why in one photo you see partial carpet with the door closed. We purchased and had installation done through ***, years ago the same scenario, short pile carpet in the same bedrooms, which met a vinyl flooring and we had no issues. The floor is still the same as it was in the first install. Also, in the working order it states no transitions. The installers who looked at the job sent from Keller said it looked bad, but it was unfinished because the floor being uneven, which was not a problem with the floor in the same room entering the bathroom, which is the same flooring and z level? I was also told when they came to look at the install they only receive orders to do transitions if requested, which in my opinion would be because people do not want transitionsOur work order stated NO transitions, which I presented a copy to the installer doing the second opinionWe were not told by the installers when they were here, as were wethere was an issue, so they left with the job unfinished. *** guarantees all installs if everything is proper, all the floors are level and the vinyl plank was installed properly even though it was not done by KellerKeller is hired as a subcontractor via *** and needs to uphold this agreement with *** and their customers. In my final statement, look at the pictures, one entry way is correct, the other are not. If this was not possible how would one entry way with the same flooring, same carpet, same z height, same centimeter in vinyl floor edge turn out right and the other wrong if it is required to have a transition? I can assure you if I have another professional replace this carpet all entry ways will be as the one they did correct and was told so by another professional with plus years experience.

Good Morning,   Just wanted to touch base on the complaint for Customer [redacted], (We have it under [redacted])     Here is a pic of what we walked into the day of the install.     Also, the job is actually through [redacted].  We have not been contacted to do...

any repair work that we haven’t already addressed with [redacted].  If there is still an installation issue, she needs to contact the [redacted] installed sales office and let them know there is an issue.  We can address at that point.   Please feel free to contact me if there are any other questions.   Thanks for your time.   Thank You, Tom A[redacted] Regional Manager [redacted] Phone toma[redacted]@kellerinteriors.com www.kellerinteriors.com

From Thomas A[redacted]Hello, You can see the pics below. Job was resolved with customer through the retailer where she purchased the flooring project on 10/05/2017. We were the installation Company contracted out by the retailer to do the work.   From Isaac B[redacted]: I believe the...

4th picture is the stair banister, just next to the edge of the stairs. I would assume that the banister issue could have been created by the banister installers, yes. But the customer says she thinks it may have been caused by a carpet stretching tool, like a knee stretcher. We have suggested that she have her banister installer or manufacturer look at it to see if it was possibly installed incorrectly.  Theoretically, do you think that there is a chance that the crack appeared when the carpet was stretched into the banister, but that it is due to the banister being installed wrong?

Customer had floating vinyl plank installed - not by us.  Customer does not want a transition where the carpet meets the vinyl plank, but his is needed for a floating floor to be done correctly.  We have offered to send one of our vinyl plank installers out to take care of, but the...

customer is refusing a transition.  There is nothing we can do going up to a floor that we did not install if it is not proper to begin with.
