I brought my car to Car-isma because of a starting problem. When I picked up my car after a day and a half in the shop, I was told that they needed to replace the 4 plugs and install new ignition coils - $416. 2 days later, the starting problem began again. This time the diagnosis was a bad starter - $366. I asked why that diagnosis wasn't made initially. The mechanic said that he thought it was a different problem so they first replaced the plugs. I was never asked when I had the plugs replaced, which was in the last 30K miles. It wasn't until he started the car with my being present that he thought it might be related to the starter. I could have saved $400 if the correct diagnosis was made the first time. I don't feel I was lied to by Car-isma, but I believe they rushed to a quick and incorrect diagnosis, resulting in more money out of my pocket.
