Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing...

this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I do not accept the business response for the following reasons. First the refund was not demanded. For 7 months we attempted to get the warranty. After no success we went in one last time. After speaking with Mr. [redacted] and Bruce interupting telling us that it wasn't his problem and refused to offer anything at all, it wasn't until we said we would report the company, did we get an offer of the warranty from Bruce. We were told they would not reimburse us for the cost paid on the vehicle that was covered under the warranty even though we paid for the warranty in February and it would have covered the cost. Then we were told it would not start for 45 days just as Bruce stated in his response and that too is unacceptable. Secondly the warranty was not financed it was paid in cash and Bruce was made aware of this. My bank statement for February 29, 2016 shows a withdrawal of exactly $3000 the amount John Gil told us we would need for a down payment and they only accept a cash payment so we couldn't use a check or debit card. When we showed up to physically pay for the vehicle John said the down payment would only need to be $1500 and with tax, title and fee it would come out to $1800. After telling us this he proceeded to tell us about the warranty and asked if we wanted to purchase it we said we only pulled out $3000 and only had $1200 left after the down payment. John said he was going to ask and see if they could give us the Warranty for $1200 and not $1500. He went to the back and came out a few minutes later and said that his boss said that was fine. My receipt number for my down payment is 204507 and the receipt for my warranty is 204508 one right after the other signed by John Gil, both in the same hand writing dated for 2/29/2016. Despite all this proof we were still denied our warranty and disrespected. I want my money reimbursed as I feel the company broke any agreement that would be in place when that warranty was purchased by refusing to give it to us therefor a refund is in order.
Regards,
Chassa [redacted]

Review: I test drove a car from Car King on 9/23/15. During the test drive the gas cap alarm and check engine light came on. Talking with the sales person at the time we did not think it was a major issue. I purchased the car and as I was driving it home the car started to overheat. The car could not go through emissions right away as I got the letter from the DMV. I was laid up with an injury for a couple of weeks and after feeling better I could not take it to the local garage right away as they were still in the process of repairing fire damage to their garage. When I finally took it there and after trying a couple different gas caps the car would not pass emissions. The mechanic had to repair the evac pump and replace the blower fan, and after repairs the car finally passed. The final repair cost was $762.94. I tried to contact Car King for a resolution and they flatly denied me. I was under the impression it was illegal to sell a car in Wisconsin with an emission problem and Car King seemed like there were covering it up as the salesperson said he had no problems when he drove it before.Desired Settlement: I was prefer the total refund cost the repair refunded to me but I would be willing to settle for half of the cost at a minimum or $382. I think they should admit that the car had emission problems and never been on the lot in the first place and they is why I shouldn't shoulder the whole cost of the repair. Thank you.

Response:

I looked into this deal on Monday and found out he negotiated the price down from $3,999 to $3,500 because of these issues and they were disclosed to him and he signed it. When I asked him about this and why he would have signed it his response was he did not think it would cost this much. He also never complained about over heating issue which is strange. He first called me on 11/6/15 and he purchased it on 9/25/15 and I am sure if this car would have overheated on the way home I would have hear from him on 9/25/15. We offer a discount on Parts and labor for one year on anything that goes through our shop and he never requested our help until now. They are sold as is other than our discount. I have the discloser statement also I can fax over if you would like to see it. Thanks [redacted]

Review: Went to Purchase 2000 Chevrolet Suburban on March 14, Purchase Price $5995. with $500. down and finance Remander with Terms of 24 Months. Received call on March 15th that Lender Citizens wanted $1500. down and terms of $241.44 for 24 months. I excepted phone offer, went to pick up vehicle on March 17th, the dealer said they saw a brake line leak so they sent it out to fix it. I excepted that and said I would come in at 6PM on 3/18/14 to pick up the vehicle and sign additional paperwork. Received a call at 2PM on 3/18 said that the lender now wanted $2000. and the payment would remain the same at $241.44. I asked why and they said they didn't know and would call back. When [redacted] Sales manager called back he said the dealership would discount the car by the additional money and to come in and the $1500. down payment and the payment of $241.44 would remain the same. Went in at 6PM 3/18 to take delivery of the car and sign additional paperwork and the payment had changed to $254. 65. I asked why and they said that is just what the lender wanted, they changed the deal, but they had the approved lending agreement for the $241.44 and an additional lending agreement of $254.65 both on the desk. I said I would like to talk to the bank to find out why and the dealer refused to give me any paperwork including the purchase agreement, Finance agreement, my paystubs, my checking account information, my insurance Information. I said you are required to give the customer copies and they said no that I was not entitled to any of that information it was the dealers property. I asked to talk to the owner, they refused, the young gentleman that I was working with for the delivery witnessed the baligerant behavior of the the other two salesman Bruce and [redacted] - the Sales manager.Desired Settlement: I do not have any copies of paperwork in which they refused to provide and due to my financial information I believe I am entitled to that. The vehicle I agreed to pay the purchase price of $5995. they agreed to sell it for that price, now for some reason the figures changed?

Hello I will get back to you at some point. This is a simple math problem and it is easy to show the first payment was with $2000 Down and the next Payment was with $1,500 Down thus the loan amount changed and the payment changed. But I will supply the paper for you with real figures.

Please, if you read this don't buy a car from here. They scam you. If it looks too good to be true, it is. All the cars here are dinged up and half of them don't work properly. Here is my story- We bought an 02 vw passat in September, two months later the engine blew. We needed a car ASAP so we took it in to our own mechanic to get a new one put it, this came out of our pocket and totaled at 4,300. All they offered was to have us at our expense tow it to them an hour and a half away so they could look at it. Really, your mechanics are the ones that missed all these problems, you think I'd give you another dollar to fix it? Not. And by this time the engine was already being replaced because we needed this second vehicle.Once they got further into the car they realized the oil was leaking so bad it was under the seats of the car. It was deemed dangerous and had we gotten into an accident it would have ignited. The hoses that were connected to the engine were all either cracked or broke. The timing belt and water pump was also replaced. Not even a month after the heater core blew and siezed the new engine. This place will screw you over! We are a working family and have a child! We needed this car, [redacted] and his employees are scammers. And [redacted] is very rude and obnoxious. We spent about 10,000 on this car all in all. And now it's shot. Thanks car king for taking this families money. Shame on you, karma will come :) I'll take your business down so you can't do this again. Also read all the reviews Google this place! I'm not the only one this has happened to unfortunately.

I bought a used car from car king and to find out that the car has a lot of problems and all the dealer keeps telling me is that its been fixed and the problem is still there ... two months have past and they keep telling me day after day and week after week that they fixed the problem but it turns out they have no intensions to fix the car for me .. please if you read this dont buy a car from them they are a bunch of scammer....
