I bought a car and they are unwilling to fix the vehicle. Vehicle has been in the shop multiple times for same issue.I bought a 2004 Ford Explorer from Car-Mart back in early 2013. When we purchased the vehicle and before driving off the lot, we noticed that vehicle was missing. We then placed it in the shop per Car-Marts request and they fixed it. A couple of weeks later the same thing happened again. We have had this same issue since we bought the vehicle. We have had the truck in the shop more than we have actually driven it. We have sat down with the General Manager of the store one month into buying the vehilce who stated to us that we could trade in the vehicle but we would have to pay sales tax and tags all over again along with a monthly payment. I explained to him at that time that I wanted the truck that we were in and that they needed to fix it to our satisfaction. Needless to say we are still having issues out of the truck and no one seems to want to help with the solution.Desired SettlementI would like for Car-Mart to step up and either fix my vehicle or refund me ALL the money placed into the vehicle or place me in another vehicle that is running completely normal.

I cannot get proper response form phone calls or emails. And certainly cannot get my car fixed or the paperwork to get my tags that are overdue.First Complaint sent through Car-Mart Website on 5/21/2014: On April 19th and bought a 2007 White[redacted], on May 8th or 9th I go to start this car and the engine light is on a it begins literally PUTTING done the road. I call Car-Mart they send a tow truck to pick it up at 10:15pm. The car had to have a fuel pump and total tune up per the mechanic. On May 11th, I receive a call from Car-Mart, stating that I need to come back into the business because all of my paperwork is incorrect, the paperwork I had showed I bought a 2007[redacted] but I have a 2007 White[redacted]. I went back to Car-Mart that Friday evening May 11th, after hours to have all this paperwork corrected and redone. Once I get there I notice the cost of the White[redacted] is more than what I had financed for the[redacted], I speak up they begin to figure out a way to "fix" it because I feel it was wrong for me to have to pay more, it wasn't my mistake, which also means my sales tax will be higher. They agree to pay the difference. I then had to call my insurance company again and explain to them what had happened to get my insurance corrected. The following week I receive a phone call from[redacted] stating that my 2nd weekly payment was 4 days late, I asked specifically while I was there having all that paperwork redone if I would be in your system showing I have 2 cars and I was told no, they would delete the wrong car, but they didn't. Now this car is leaking some kind of fluid on my driveway and the engine light is on again! I need HELP with getting this car fixed. I bought a used car I do understand that there can or will be problems with it from time to time but in the first 30 days I have had all these issues already, I haven't even gotten tags on the car yet and am wondering should I? Is this acceptable?I sent that complaint on the Car-Mart website, only then do I receive a response from the manager. The response simply asked what color is the liquid leaking from the car and where am I going on a trip in case he has to have another Car-Mart repair it no other response no offer to fix the car nothing.Second Complaint sent through Car-Mart Website on 6/20/2014, I have sent multiple requests to Car-Mart in West Memphis for the paperwork that I need to get tags on this car that I have bought in West Memphis, to mailed to me so I can get tags since now the temporary tags have expiredI called the West Memphis Car - Mart once and requested this over the phone, the lady I spoke with said she would have it taken care of, I never heard or saw anythingI have emailed the manager three times and have not seen or heard anythingOne more time, I am asking that the paperwork that I need to get the tags on this car that I have bought from West Memphis, I have attached this stream of emails so someone can see that I have attempted but have received no responseIs there someone that I need to speak to that can help me with this whole situation that I have experienced with Car-Mart or can I just get the paperwork and the check for their part of the sales tax (which by now I feel they should take care of the whole thing because of all the bull that I have had with this company)I am not sure if Car-Mart thinks that because I have complained once that this is a joke or funny but I happen to take this very serious. I have never received this type of customer service nor have I heard of anyone receiving this type of experience. I make my payments on time but I assure you if I missed one there would not be a problem with someone calling me. I can assure you that once I pay my debt there off I will never use this company again, I hear this commercial on the radio where the president of Car-Mart is promoting the business and it makes me sick to my stomach because I have had the most awful experience with this company.I have all the emails to add to my complaint if needed, just let me know. There is more I could say but I have no more room.Desired SettlementWhat I would like see happen now that Car-Mart has put me through all this is that they:1) Fix my car as I have been requesting from day # 182) Pay ALL my sales tax so I can get my tags really soon because my drive out tags expired in June, now I am driving around with emails to show the police if I get stopped the bull that I am going through with this company.OR: Give me the down payment money and all the money back on the payments that I have made and I can take my business to another company

I purchase a car from them .. after a week of driving my car I tried to blow my horn to avoid an accident but I could not blow my horn.. I called car-mart to report the problem and they requested that I bring my car in for service. When I got my car back from them the horn work for a moment but the alarm (that I didn't know I had) started going off randomly during the day and night constantly disturbing my neighbors and co- workers I CALLED again to carmart to tell them about this problem and I was told that they were working with another costumer and would call me back...that never happened.. After I didnt hear back from them over the weekend I took my car to a local [redacted] to see if they could tell why all of a sudden after carmart fixing my horn the alarm randomly went off. The service department looked at my horn and found out that when carmart supposedly fixed my horn they had live wires hanging loose and that every time there was a slight wind the live and loose wires would set off my alarm. Some how carmart had tied my horn and alarm together. The service department at [redacted] thought the live and loose wires under the hood of my car was extremely dangerous for me to be driving around like I was so he cut the live parts off the wires and seal them so there was no more exposure. After that I tried to blow my horn and could not blow because of the crossed wires that was unsuccessfully repair. I CALLED carmart again to tell them what happened and was again avoided so my alarm kept going off with no sound but lights keep flashing until finally car battery drained and died. I got a jump and called car mart.I was called again by staff saying that they didnt see the issue with my car because they were taking turns going out to start my car and it started fine and that they never heard the alarm going off ( please keep in mind I have told them over and over again my horn doesnt work so it is impossible to hear the alarm the lights just flash constantly until battery finally drains).. I tried to call carmart again and was constantly avoided except for when it came time for my car note to be due.. my rep basically harassed me and my relatives about my carnote, but seemed to care less about my service issue. after I paid my note I called again to speak with the general manager and was again avoided by staff so I decided to show and spontaneously meet with him. In our meeting I felt like he really was concerned about my repair issue. He explained to me after sending my car to local shops that my car would needed to be sent to the dealer. The appt with dealer was supposed to be on that friday at 10 so I dropped off my car at 8:30 . when I called back later to check if the car had been sent off, none of the staff seem to know that my car was even on their lot. Shortly after that I received a call from them saying my car is at a local shop and not at the dealer. Please note my car had already been to the local shops why was it not at the dealer I asked my rep who informed me that she had no idea what was going on with my car. Then once again I received a call from carmart saying they were going to send my car to the dealer after already having my car for 6 days. The next day or so I was called by the general manager saying that the dealer found the problem with my car and that it was probably a shortage in the wires. I was upset but relieved that they follow through this time. I was told by general manager that they would called me when the car was ready. It had been three more days I have been constanly trying to find rides to work because I work in Tennessee and I also had to find rides for my little sister who goes to school in tennessee as well. I decided to call carmart and see if my car was back from the dealer. I WAS told by bitter staff that I was dealing with the general manager with that issue and again she had no idea the status of my car. I begin to verbally get irate with staff but still professional and was again avoided. Desired Settlementrepairs to my car or they can keep it no monies owed from me.. I just want the peace of mind of finally driving a car from them with no underlying issues. This is car number 3 with them and the first one stopped on me while I was driving on interstate.
