Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I stopped at the business and the manager said that they couldn't have caused the dent - Apparently it just happened by itself No one else has been inside my door - There is no other reasonable explanation - I know it's been a year, but I explained that I wasn't going to pursue it - It's just that it really annoyed me as time went by and I decided to move on it I certainly won't be doing business with Car Masters again [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]

September 10,2015Revdex.comBryant Woods SouthAmherst, NY 14228Dear Sirs:Please be advised that this is a second response to your letter dated August 26, regarding a dispute Stanley Symons has with our company regarding his vehicle when it was rust proofed one year ago.*** *** came into our shop this morning, enabling us to examine the dent on his vehicleThe dent is a crease approximately 4-inches below the door handle on the driver's doorPlease understand, that when we apply rust proofing to the inside of vehicle door cavities, we use an atomizer attached to a flexible rubber hose with a quarter inch round metal extension on it that is only inches long, and only inches or less gets inserted as it will not go into the door further by the design of the wand and it sprays a high pressure wide sprayOur wand is inserted near the bottom of the door and could not possibly reach the area that was damaged. The dent in question is definitely from the inside out as the Customer suggests but in our professional opinion, this dent was probably caused by a lock-out tool, which is a tool used to unlock a vehicle when keys are locked inside accidentallyThis could have happened at any shop that the vehicle has been serviced at over the last yearSince the dent was just recently noticed, it would be reasonable to surmise that the damage probably happened at the last place that the vehicle was serviced, be it an oil change, tire rotation or detail shop etc.We would like *** *** to continue to be our customer and would like to offer him a 50% off discount on our Bodyguard Rust Protection If he would like to use our service again in the future, which we hope he will do.Sincerely,KEVIN JK*** INC.Dba CarMasters Collisioll & GlassDebra AK***Office Manager

September 4, 2015Revdex.com100 Bryant Woods SouthAmherst. NY 14228Dear Sirs:Please be advised that we are in receipt of your letter dated August 26. 2015 regarding a dispute Stanley Symons has with our company regarding his vehicle when it was rust proofed one year ago. [redacted]...

[redacted] contacted us last week by telephone and was going to schedule a yearly appointment for us to apply our Bodyguard Rust Protection product to his 2010 Nissan Altima. While on the telephone, he mentioned that he had just noticed it dent in his door and that it must have happened last year when we last applied the Bodyguard protection to his vehicle, which was completed on September 12,2014.We explained that if he would come in, we would need to look at the dent and we would show him how we apply the product. because to make a dent in a metal door from the inside out. would take a lot of force and it the inside out, is highly unlikely that our process caused the dent. We were never given the opportunity to view the dent and would like to see it, as it has been almost a year since we applied our bodyguard product to his vehicle. In the 22 years that we have been applying oil based rust proofing products to vehicles using the same technique that we use today; we never have had a complaint such as this. Until we see the dent in person and investigate the situation to see if our wand could possibly have caused the dent last year, we cannot remedy the situation. If after seeing the dent, it is reasonably possible that we caused the dent, we will repair it through our collision shop here at CarMasters Collision & Glass. Please have [redacted] contact us at his earliest convenience to make an appointment to bring in the vehicle so that we may look at the dent on the door.Sincerely,KEVIN J.
