Review: I applied for monthly parking at the [redacted] Car Park (#**) facility beginning on 1/**/2014 with the intent to park my car on a daily basis until I was granted a parking spot in my building. I paid a total of $407.39 which included the remaining days for January, plus all of February. By 3/**/2014, I paid the next monthly fee of $275. On 3/**/2014 I was advised by my building's [redacted] that there was a spot available for me. I proceeded to sign the lease for my building's parking spot which I immediately began to use on 3/**/2014. I called Car Park Systems on 3/**/2014 to advise them that I no longer needed to park my vehicle at their location and was advised that because the applications states "Please notify [redacted] in writing 30 days prior to cancellation of your monthly account", that I am now responsible for the full payment until the end of April. I am basically being told that I must pay for the remainder of the month (March), plus all of next month (April), because I did not notify them before making the payment for March.It is not written anywhere on the application that the cancellation must be done prior to the start of the month in order to avoid having to pay for the next 2 months in full, regardless of whether you need their services or not. I feel that Car Park Systems is taking advantage of me as the consumer, threatening to send my account to collections if I do not pay for an extra month of service for which I've stated that I will not be using their services.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a settlement that would entitle me to pay no more than a month's worth of the parking fee beginning on the day in which I called for the cancellation which was on 3/**/2014.

Review: I parked my car starting May *, 2013 in an underground and covered garage owned by Car Park Systems. I have a signed contract, parking sticker, and I have paid the monthly parking fee for the two months I was in contract with them. The parking attendants are in charge of taking my car in and out of the parking spaces. On June *, 2013, I finally noticed the blue scratches and dents on the roof my car. The blue scratches are from the car parking racks that elevates one car over another. Apparently one of the parking attendants caused the damage and no one told me. Immediately, I call the Manager at the garage where I park ([redacted])and I drive over from my outing to the garage to show him the damage. He told me a supervisor would take care of it. I call about two weeks to the main office number listed on my contract. It took about two weeks and finally a supervisor calls me back. He seemed nice enough and scheduled to see my car. My father met with him and he took pictures and put in a claim that was on June **, 2013. I give it some time. I call again when it was July , *, 2013. He said he needed to check on the paperwork. I called this week just to check in and he did not return my phone call. It is has been a month since I brought this to the attention of Car Park Systems. They won't let me choose my own bodyshop, so I have to use theirs. However, if someone does not get back to me soon about this matter I will go to Small Claims Court get my damages awarded just so I can have the roof fixed sooner rather than later.Desired Settlement: Please contact me about the claim and repair my car as soon as possible.

Review: I set up a new monthly with this garage in mid November. I was quoted a monthly rate of $500 inclusive of taxes for an outdoor parking spot for my Toyota Landcruiser. I asked several times to make sure as I was quoted $550 a month for an indoor spot a block away. I was told that the pro rated amount for the rest of November plus the month of December would total $850 payable by cash or check. I provided the manager with the cash. In December I received a bill stating that I owed $177.50 for the month of December. I asked the manager who stated that he also received a call from them and told them that he had handed over to them the amount they requested for both months. He did not make the calculation, they did.After repeated calls to their office I was apologized to and told that they would take care of the mistake and call me back if there were any problems. I never received a call so I paid the $500 for January. There appeared to be no issues as I never received a call back from them. Towards the end of January I received a bill stating that I now owed $302.50. I placed calls every other day to the office and kept being given the run around for weeks. Exactly 2 days ago I was able to get a woman on the phone that said that the issue was that my monthly was actually $575, not what I was originally told and not the original amount requested to secure the space. I was told that I should continue to call every day until I could reach someone called [redacted]. I finally reached [redacted] today who proceeded to tell me that the monthly was in fact $575 and that if I wanted my vehicle I needed to pay that amount plus the extra for the month of December as well as January in cash to the manager. When I asked why this was the first I heard of this she told me that she and the only other person that handle billing both had medical emergencies which kept them out of the office for weeks and that it was what it was and I just needed to pay it or else I could not get my vehicle. She then proceeded to hang up on me.Desired Settlement: I would like to be billed what I was originally quoted which was reflected in the amount I handed over to their manager in the first place. I will remove my car at the end of this month which I will have paid for thereby giving up my monthly space.
