Review: I went to make a trade in with my vehicle with $300.00 cash down and the vehicle that I was going to trade for wasnt running very good. So I told the sales guy tony that I did not want the vehicle and now is blowing me off and will not refund my money that I had put down. He says he is with customers and he will call me back. He never does. It got to the point where when I did call he was still trying to push the vehicle on me that I just told him I got layed off my job and just want my money back. I am getting little bit upset that its only been 5 days and they act like they are broke. Im hoping to get my money back soon because im just tired off getting scammed and no one is not doing anything about it.Desired Settlement: Just want my hard earned money back

Review: As of June 24, 2015..... I wanted to purchase a 2004 white chevy trailblazer... I looked the vehicle over n noticed the inside wasnt cleaned.... the interior passenger side door trims missing... no spare tire... I believe this vehicle was wrecked....the rear-end has been replaced.... because its orange... I was promised a car fax upon my down payment.... I therefore gave Tony a $100.00 cash deposit.... and I was allowed to test drive the vehicle around ONE (1) city block... after thinking over the vehicle and rediculously harrassed by Tony that """""CAR SOLUTIONS"""" needed a substantial down payment.. My father n law took me to give $2,000.00 down payment, on the WINDSHIELD PRICE SAID $4,000.00.... I finally received the vehicle July 9, 2015.... United Auto Credit said Tony financed the vehicle for $4,000.00..... wen I picked the truck up... the truck was not cleaned... had no spare tire.. nothing was fixed as verbally agreed... So now United Auto Credit wants thier vehicle back... and the dealership refuses to work with me... after having the vehicle 3 days sumthing fell from the rear-end and beings it was nite time... I couldnt see it and then the whole truck smelled like gas... gas fumes are so bad that my grandkids are not safe in it...... gas pours everywhere... the trucks needs electrical work done because the lights dont work on the drivers side of the truck when it rains or is damp.... within 3 days of having the truck I asked for a refund.... from United Auto Credit and they said no.... Car Solutions refuses to call anybody back that they owe... and I feel I was brushed off for so long so they WOULD NOT have to fix the truck... I would gladly give the truck back... they refuse to refund my initial down payment of $2100.00.... the price said $4,000.00..... WHY DID CAR SOLUTIONS POCKET MY $2100.00 AND GET ME FINANCED FOR $4,000.00?????? TOTAL BEING $6,000.00 FOR A VEHICLE THAT WILL NOT PASS INSPECTION UNLESS I PUT $2,000.00 IN TO THE TRUCK... WHEN I ASKED UNITED AUTO CREDIT ABOUT THE MONEY...THIER RESPONSE WAS.... """"THAT $2,000.00 WAS USED FOR THE SALES TAX ON THE VEHICLE""""" HOW MUCH SALES TAX IS THERE ON A SUPPOSED $4000.00 CAR???? AND NOW UNITED AUTO CREDIT SAYS THEY NEVER RECEIVED THAT $2100.00!!!!!! NOW NOBODY KNOWS WHERE THE $2100.00 INITIAL PAYMENT IS AND U.A.C. NOW DENIES KNOWING ABOUT THE DEPOSIT... U.A.C. AND CAR SOLUTIONS HAVE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS AND THEY ARE THREATENING ME WITH JAIL AND DIFFERENT THINGS AND HARRASSING MY FRIENDS... I JUST WANT THE MONEY BACK AS I STATED WITHIN THREE DAYS OF RECIEVING THE TRUCK ON JULY 9. 2015... THERES NO POINT IN FIXING THE TRUCK BECAUSE CAR SOLUTIONS SCAMS PEOPLE WITH THAT ALSO... AFTER THE HORROR IVE BEEN THRU WITH THIS TRUCK... A FRIEND OF MINE GOT ON THIER WEB-SITE AND IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO... AND TO TOP ALL THIS OFF U.A.C. SENT ME THE TITLE TO THE TRUCK AND ITS NOT EVEN A 2004 AS STATED... ITS A 2002!!!!! NOW THE COMPANY IS HARRASSING ME AND I CANT EVEN GET THRU TO THEM AT U.A.C.Desired Settlement: I WISH FOR A REFUND AND I WANT MY NAME OFF OF UNITED AUTO CREDITS FILES.... I WISH FOR NO FURTHER CONTACT FROM CAR SOLUTIONS, EMPLOYEES, FRIENDS, RELATIVES OR ANYBODY OF THAT NATURE... THANK YOU KINDLY...... MALINDA M. [redacted] SORRY FOR THE CAPITALS.... AS I HAVE A HARD TIME SEEING LITTLE LETTERS ON THE COMPUTER!!!!!! THANK YOU.... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

January 4, 2016Dear [redacted],This letter is in reference to a complaint received 12/17/15 by [redacted]. ID# [redacted]Attached are copies of documents pertaining to purchase of 2002 Chevrolet Trail blazer dated 6/24/15.The terms of the purchase are clearly listed in the attached, signed documents. No other dealer servicesor warranty were expressed or implied.Regards,Eugene R[redacted], pres.

Review: I bought a 2000 Nissan xterra from car solutions on may 11, 2013. I drove it off the lot and within 1 hour had to drive it back because the engine was smoking and leaking oil. car solutions paid half of the repair cost. on june 2 after having the vehicle less than 30 days the Nissan is again in need of repair. this time it needs a new engine. the dealership said this will cost me $2000. My finance company [redacted] say I have a limited warranty but car solutions say there is no warranty and I am responsible for the parts and repairs. I believe car solutions sold me a junk car for $8000 and now when the engine dies 3 weeks after the papers are signed, they refuse to help me. I have tried to get in touch with the manager [redacted] but he will not return my calls. I can not get a straight answer from any one. I have a feeling that they are waiting for the 30 days to lapse and I will be stuck.Desired Settlement: I would like to cancel our agreement and have this loan canceled. I would also like the $600 down payment returned to me. They already have the Nissan xterra sitting at their garage. I don't want the vehicle. I don't trust them to fix it the right way anymore.

Review: I went to this business to buy a truck with 4 doors and one with a tow package . I found the truck I wanted put down a down payment like they said I had to do In order for them to even start filling for a loan . Then they sold the vehicle I had the down payment on to someone else .then they picked another vehicle and said since the other one was sold we had to just put any truck so they could still try to get a loan . They said I didn't have to buy that truck but they never got another truck that was what I was asking for. They have been giving me the run around since October when I gave them the down payment and I still have no truck all I want is my money back I don't want nothing to do with this company. I have done a lot of research on this company I found nothing but bad things also a report from the Revdex.com giving them an F rating. Please help me.This business is bad I have witness personal they way they are.Desired Settlement: The only way is for me to get a full refund which is in the amount of 2,100. Which is what I gave them for a down payment

Review: I purchased a 2007 Dodge Caliber from Car Solutions in Hermitage Pa location on 2/21/16 and didn't take possession until 2/22/16. Until this day, my car has not been safe to drive according to my mechanic, the State Trooper, and PennDot. The car was not inspected when I test drove it on Feb 1st when I put $1500 d/p and salesman stated he could get someone to put a sticker on the car. The car needed an alignment then and I was assured that it would be done and it still is not done because of the major issues that the owner of Car Solutions (Eugene Razzano) is trying to downplay because he is a bit salty because I exercised my right as a consumer to contact the State trooper because my car has a safety inspection sticker placed on it dated 3/8/16 knowing that the mechanics that he sent my car to did lousy jobs fixing my car. He was looking for the cheapest deal he could get--nevermind my safety but he whines about having me as a return customer with unsatisfactory service such as this. The Trooper has taken pictures of the damages to my vehicle and the safety issues that Eugene got his mechanics to overlook are major enough to raise concerns about their credibility and his as well. Now I am in a situation where if I drive that car I would be putting my life in eminent danger because Eugene got a $400 discount and he called himself making it right by trying to strong arm me to force me into getting my car "played with" by his incompetent mechanic that worked on my car previously for $150 fake verbal quote he claimed to have gotten that he refused to share with me. I gave him a righteous quote from my mechanic showing $616.02 worth of work needed to be done in order to get my car in good condition and he refused to meet me there after sending my car to many different shops. He admitted that some of my concerns were an "oversight" by the mechanic but when it comes to safety, that is not acceptable. If he was genuine about caring about his customers, he would understand and realize that this is a serious problem and do better than what he is. Putting me in another one of his vehicles does not give me assurance that my safety is any better because the same mechanics are working on those cars also.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of money paid OR my vehicle repaired by my own mechanic according to his estimate at sellers dollar for my inconvenience...I want to be able to drive the car that I purchased on 2/1/16 and know that it is safe and not be afraid to open the door and wonder if the tire rod will break and my life be affected because the owner and the garage that he sent it to did not do a proper safety inspection of my car.

Review: I bought a 2006 Buick Rainier with 55,000 miles from Car Solutions in August of 2013. On June 21st, 2014, my vehicle broke down because it required a complete transmission overhaul. I took it back to the Car Solutions salesman ([redacted]) who sold me the vehicle and explained to him that I hadnt had the vehicle for a month before it broke down. He advised me that he may be able to have the owner assist me in repairs of $3,000. I asked him what would my cost be, and he told me Id need to come up with half ($1,500) for the work to be completed.By September 6th, 2014, I had already paid $1,000 and I had written a post-dated check for October 15th, 2014 for the remaining balance (of $500). [redacted], the salesman, gave me my keys and I proceeded to drive away.On September 9th, 2014, I dropped my vehicle off at a local garage to a certified mechanic ([redacted] at [redacted]s) for inspection and he informed me that I had, Transmission fluid pouring from underneath the car. [redacted] also explained to me that I had an exhaust leak that was a result of the workers not properly bolting the exhaust back on.I ended up paying $42.70 for a failed inspection. I would like to be reimbursed $8,000 which is what I owe on the vehicle Car Solutions sold me, for Car Solutions not doing the work they said they would, failed inspection, and pain and suffering. On September 26th, 2014 I drove my car to Buffalo, NY for my sons birthday party. When I got to Buffalo, my car began making a clicking noise. I took my car to a local mechanic and hed advised me that whoever did my transmission work, did not properly bolt my dry shaft on under my vehicle. I had to go to [redacted] Auto Parts in Williamsville, NY for them to use a tool that would replace the old u joint and put a new one in. I spent $59.00 for [redacted] Auto Parts to complete this. After they had repaired the dry shaft, I needed to have it put back on my vehicle. The total price of repairs was $100.00. On October 1st, at 2pm, I got into my car to grab a bite to eat. When I went to put my car in reverse, it wouldnt move. I continued to reverse my car out of the parking until it finally started moving. I took the car back to [redacted] in Sharon, PA and [redacted] advised me that Im still leaking transmission fluid.I went to Car Solutions and informed [redacted] that once again, his mechanics did not properly do their job. [redacted] told me to drive my car back to New Castle, PA, thirty minutes away, for the 2nd time, so his mechanics may attempt to do their job right, again. I explained to [redacted] that Car Solutions wouldnt reimburse me for gas money to drive my car to New Castle, or my girlfriends car either, because shed have to follow me so I would have a ride back.I have been dealing with this situation since June 2014, and I would like this situation to be resolved, the right way.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the amount I've paid Car Solutions for the repair and for the cost of being without a car for weeks.

Business

Response:

Mr. [redacted] purchased a 2006 Buick Rainier on 8/28/2013, with no warranty expressed

or implied. Mr. [redacted] contacted Car Solutions ten months after purchase because of a

transmission problem. As a good will gesture, Car Solutions split the cost of the repair 50/50.

The repair was completed and Mr. [redacted] was able to pick up his car on or around 9/20/2014.

When Mr. [redacted] contacted Car Solutions on 10/01/2014 stating that there was a transmission

fluid leak we advised that he immediately return the car to Car Solutions to fix the leak and

avoid damage to the transmission. As of the date of this letter he hasn’t returned.

Consumer

Response:

After I had discovered the leak, I brought my car back to

Car Solutions and they’d advised me to take my vehicle back to the repair man

in New Castle, PA to have them fix it.

When I took it back to New Castle on Tuesday September 16th, 2014, my

girlfriend followed me. The repair shop

informed me that I wouldn’t be able to pick my vehicle up until September 19th

because they had a number of vehicles ahead of me. I left my car there for the leak and the

exhaust to be fixed so I may pass inspection (which Car Solutions failed to mention

in their response).

I drove my vehicle to Buffalo, NY on September 26th for my

son’s birthday. When I made it to

Buffalo, the same day, my car started making a clicking sound. I took it to a local mechanic there and he

told me that whoever worked on my repair did not properly secure the AWD shaft

located on the front end of the vehicle.

I had to go to [redacted] in Williamsville, NY to have that part replaced,

which I still have receipts for. That

situation alone cost me $100.00.

I informed [redacted] about this at the Car Solutions in

Hermitage, and I also told him that my vehicle is still leaking transmission

fluid. He told me to drive it back to New Castle, PA so they can fix it. I told him that I would not take it back to New Castle for a third time. Car Solutions is an unprofessional establishment that does not care about their product or customers. I told [redacted] that he would not hear from me but from my lawyer.

The reason I do not accept their statement is because sure,

we did agree on 50/50 to cover the cost it would cause to fix the

transmission. We did not agree on me

having continuous problems after they “fixed” the transmission. I still would like to be refunded the

$1,000.00 I paid and more, because until this day, I’m still having issues as a

result of Car Solutions claiming they would fix my vehicle.

Please be advised that the 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe referenced in the ID listed above was purchased AS-IS,

Review: On 11/18/2013 I went to look at cars at this business. [redacted] assisted me. I applied for a loan. Advise him my income, [redacted] asked how many hours I would be working that week I told 40. He increased my income by 200.00. [redacted] inputted my info needed and he told me that bank had approved me for the loan. He told me to come back on 11/22/13 to finalize paperwork and pick up car. I paid my deposit of $600 cash after I was told I was approved. Came back on 1/22/13 started paperwork, had insurance set for the car, only to be advised that I would need a co-signer. [redacted] told me to take out a loan for 3000 or see if I could get a co-signer. Co-signer was possibly available and paperwork was sent overnight from [redacted] to be reviewed by possible co-signer. It was determined by co-signer after reviewing paperwork that made my co-signer the owner of the car that they were unwilling to help. [redacted] told Co-signer and myself he would refund my deposit because everything fell through on 11/25/13. [redacted] advised it would be sent in a check. Several attempts have been made to contact [redacted] during the time of 12/2/13-12/5/13. No answer or return call. On 12/6/13 contact was made and [redacted] then told me that I would not be getting my deposit back and hung up on me when he was asked why. It has been asked by co-signer and myself to speak with owner and was told by [redacted] that they do not bother the owner.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit refunded as [redacted] had told me and my co-signer. Had he not told me that I was approved for the loan in the first place I would have never put the deposit down.

Business

Response:

This letter is in response to the complaint ID# [redacted]. The customer made a $600.00 non-refundable deposit on a vehicle and signed an agreement stating the same. Attached is the deal structure signed and initialed by the customer. As a gesture of customer service we offered the customer a 600.00 credit toward a vehicle. We have sent a letter to the customer advising them of this credit. The attached letter has been sent to the address listed on customer’s driver’s license.

Consumer

Response:

When I brought in the $600 I was told I was approved for the loan. Then after I signed all the paperwork and gave them the money they told me I wasn't approved due to my income. [redacted] the car dealer I was working with had asked me what my hours had looked like for that current week. In that week I had been working 40 hours. So he calculated the whole month for that. Then when I declined he told me it was because I "lied" to the bank about my hours, which I hadn't. I told him roughly 30 hours weekly. but he took that one week and made it the whole month. Then he told me I needed to find some type of money coming in that I could add to the application. He told me it wouldn't be a cosigner. But later then changed it to I would need a cosigner. My aunt and uncle were going to look to see what would happen if they attempted to cosign. They never signed anything saying it was official. So then [redacted] tried to tell me I couldn't have my money back because I was approved again. But I wasn't because my aunt and uncle ended up not being able to put the car in their name instead of mine. [redacted] refused to give me my money back and did not offer me a credit toward a vehicle either. I never received the letter they are talking about as well. I have multiple witnesses to this.
