This customer did call me regarding the replacement of the hanger bearing, on the vehicle that he purchased from me on 2/27/2015. At the time my mechanic was working on an intricate project that would take some timeI informed Mr*** that I would honor the warranty, since I could
not service him immediately. the hanger bearing was replaces successfully on.On 4/28/I received a call from a woman who claimed to be Mr***' motherShe informed my that the vehicle that I sold her son had a blown motorRegardless of the fact that Mr*** did not call me himself, I was willing to see if I could remedy the situation for him. I asked his mother to have the car towed to my shop so that it could be properly diagnosedShe informed me that she could not do that and asked me to come to her location to evaluate the vehicle there. I am a one owner, one manager shop and do not have the capability to leave my shop during regular business hours. Since this car was now covered under warranty and Mr*** did not call me himself, I had no way of verifying if this was a legitimate claim
