It is unacceptable that the freight company missed their delivery appointmentsI am very sorry that happened.Concerning the damage to some of the parts, if you had refused the shipment because of damage, it would be no problemWe could have sent you new desk or given a full refundBut since it was accepted, our remedy is to send you, for free, ALL the new pieces to replace the damaged pieces you receivedSo you would have a 100%, new condition desk.If you don't want that option because you don't want the desk anymore, we can accept the return backBut it's considered buyer's remorse, so we'd need you to pay to ship it backWe would however, be willing to pay for part of your return shipping, as a goodwill gesture because of what happened with the freight company

Hello:We are sorry to hear about the damage that occurred when you were assembling itI can assure you, we have assembled this item several times and it is not wobbly at allOur showroom one is also very solidSo, you didn’t put something together correctly during assemblyThat’s OKWe can helpOur method of helping is to have free replacement parts sent to you so that you can put it together the right way.We can’t take back open / assembled items, thoughThis is because they can’t be shipped back to us that wayAnd, if you were to completely disassemble it and ship it back, that doesn’t work eitherIt would go from having one or two damaged pieces to having by the time we get it backThat’s because the Sauder factory packs these so precisely and tightly, with extra edge protection, that they can avoid shipping damageIt would get completely damaged if it were shipped back to us without Sauder’s precise packaging.So, please call Sauder 800-523-They won’t be able to give you a refundDo not ask for a refundInstead, explain what happened when you were assembling it and ask them to help you determine which parts may have been damagedThey will send you new, free parts so that you can finish putting it together the right way, so it is solid.Regards,John

As I told you , it is like buying a soap to wash your face to make your face clear and smooth, but instead give you more pimple breakouts, that you vow never want to buy againOr buying a TV set that does not work that you never want to buy that brand again or use that brand again and ask for a refund because the TV does not work or faultyI need my money back because the product itself is faultyI don't care about why the business cannot send back the items to the manufacturerI will send back all the items (parts ( back to them and dealing with that problem is not mine anymoreIt is my right to get my money back because the product broke down and it was faulty and poor quality in the first placeIt is not my problem anymore why can't they send back the destroyed items/partsI don't want to assemble any of their product anymore because of this experienceI am done with J Conrad and SauderI want my money back

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be acceptable for me if all the parts of the desk are shipped which is pretty much the entire desk every single wood piece is scaratched and damadgedIt is unacceptable for a company not to try to understand the situation and treat customers the way I was treated by the staff of J ConradIf J Conrad Furniture stands for lack of good customer service and treat customers bad then there is nothing I can do about that, but keep this in mind, I do not appreciate j conrads response to me or the Revdex.com saying that I should of denied or refused the delivery! For starters the driver left the package at the patio of the house and left immediately not giving me the opportunity to carry the package inside the house and inspect the packageSo I don't appreciate that is seems like me the customer is treating me the way you guys doUpon openening the package you can tell that the boxes are damaged and after opening the box is when I could tell that everything was scratched or damaged, all the pieces are bad and I called you guys immediately to let you guys know and all I heard is you should of checked it, you should of not accepted it I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the customer service you guys have given meI will accept the new desk because the one you guys sent me is pretty much trash and just unacceptable to haveI currently have no desk and I will accept the new desk because I still need one I just hope that next time I order from j Conrad, that they upgrade their customer relations or I will not be recommending this company to my associates Thank You
