Car Wholesalers Reviews (1)

Review: My wife and I were looking at a 2005 Honda civic at this dealership and thought about financing this vehicle. [redacted] the owner of the dealership came out and said that we could get a good price on the vehicle. We came to a agreement in which we have in writing. He was given a $200 dollar deposit and the agreement states $700 down and under $260 a month for 36 months or the deposit will be refunded. Well he had then called us and told us we got approved for $267 a month for 42 months I told him that we did not want to the car and would be by to pick up the deposit. We were then told that he was not going to give us our $200 deposit back because we got approved and needed to buy the car. [redacted] cheated me out of my $200 deposit and is trying to force me to buy the car. Please help I am a single working father just trying to support my family.

Desired Settlement: To have my $200 deposit refunded to me because contract of the deposit were not met and I no longer will ever do business with this dealership

Let me start out by saying how genuinely disappointed I am at having a complaint against me with your organization, after many years in business I ve always tried to do it right and make my customers happy. Having said that I d like to address [redacted] and his complaint, In my opinion [redacted] has a hard time with the truth. I was originally contacted by [redacted] of the same address as [redacted].She told me she was interested in one of my cars, that she had sone credit issues, had $700.00 to put down and worked off the books with no proof of income. I told her I couldn t help her and she suggested that her husband [redacted] get involved,so much for the single parent. I told her that if he did I would do all I could to help them get financed. [redacted] and [redacted] came in together and we sat down and I explained the loan process at which point [redacted] said he had good credit and had been at the same job for a long time and had an existing car loan with [redacted].They also told me at the time they wanted a payment of around $260.00 a month I told them I would need at least 36 months to get them there. I find sometimes it is difficult to get someone approved for a second loan and suggested they call [redacted] for the financing if that didn t work I would do my best through one of the banks I use at the dealership but if it came to that I let it be know I didn t want to waste my time, get them approved and have them back out so I told them they could go home and discuss it between them I further told them if I got them approved and they backed out I would keep the deposit as is stated on the signed purchase order we both have. They agreed they didn t need to discuss it and gave me the deposit.I received a phone call from [redacted] the next day saying [redacted] was no help and would I start the process here. I sent [redacted] s app to the bank and received a decline statement because his credit score was below 500 he was a payment behind on his current loan and had done nothing to improve his credit since the bankruptcy.I called the house and [redacted] and I discussed what the bank said and I asked if I should proceed through a sub prime bank and she said yes. I sent the loan to the sub prime lender and after two days of begging the loan officer and calling my rep from the bank at his home I got them approved for $267.00 a month for 42 months at 19%.I called to let them know on Fri. the 12th and let them know to go on I needed two paystubs from [redacted] and he needed to fill out a reference sheet so I could fax it to the bank and they could [redacted] me contracts.[redacted] initially said [redacted] would be in that day and then they called back together and said they were leaving for Lake George that day and would it be ok if they brought the documents in on Tues,I agree.Tues came and [redacted] asked me if I could take the last 6 months off the loan at the same payment I of coarse refused and she said [redacted] would still be in that day.He later called and said he was only interested at the $267.00 a month for 36 months.I again said no, [redacted] called back and said she wanted to come in for her money back I again refused.[redacted] called again on the 22nd to ask me if they could still buy the car ,I said yes but told her I still needed the documents to get contracts.[redacted]called on the 26th to ask if he could come in and tald I said yes he came in told me he could get a better rate at his credit union .I told him great we d all be happy. This was after he d already contacted the Revdex.com. He then recanted his offer about the credit union and tried to intimidate me with his copy of the complaint he made to the Revdex.com. I agree that there are bad people in business I also feel there are customers that are impossible to do business with.As far as never doing business again I have to agree with [redacted] that won t be happening soon. Thank you for allowing me to tell my side of the story ans please feel free to contact me with any questions. [redacted]
