The customer was informed prior to the repairs being started that Car-X would not be held liable for any warranty or performance when using supplied parts However we are working with the customer to arrive at a solution to fit within his budget to repair his issues All concerns have been handled and resolved

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This [redacted] The resident that she is speaking about is [redacted] and her aunt the other resident on the lease is her cousin [redacted] I myself have sent a total of notarized letters on issues that weren't being fixed along with pictures of the black mold growing in the non working dishwasher the maintenance man said he could not fixThis is amongst other work orders that weren't fulfilledThe office is very unorganized and the employees in the office are very unhelpful I have stated in the letters I have sent that I [redacted] want to be let out of my lease [redacted] and [redacted] did not follow the process I went throughI took the steps to take a stand against this place and I feel like I shouldn't be harassed by this company anymore And want the charges taken off my creditRegards, [redacted] ***

They have not provided me any information. Office states to come by to pick up a written notice, and when I did so they stated it wasnt ready. All I'm needing from your end is some kind of letter or email stating that my move out date was approved for May 20th. Why is that so difficult? I'm asking for documentation in case of any over charges upon my move out date. And as for the prorated rent, the system can be edited to show that I have paid in full... Mrs*** came into our Villa Park location located at *** East *** *** on 11/01/with her *** *** with miles on the odometer She brought her vehicle in with the engine light on after the engine light was flashing and the vehicle cut off As Mrs***
stated in her comment we took her to the vehicle and showed her all of the engine sludge and burnt oil build up inside her motor This build up can only be caused from maintenance neglect We informed her that we had to start with the valve cover gasket that was leaking oil down around the spark plugs, plugs, and doing our best to clean out the sludge She was informed that this is where we needed to begin, that after the engine had cut off with the engine light flashing other issues may present themselves The customer was aware of all repairs suggested and she authorized us to move for*** Cleaning out the oil by performing an oil flush would not cause the engine to seize Our *** representative has reviewed all of the information and *** will support our position Car-X feels there is basis for a refund

I am rejecting this response because:The company told me they could fix my front brakes for $plus taxesThey said they were not responsible because I brought the brake pads.I talked to the corporate office and they said they would resolve this matter and this fast talking guy talked me twice over minutes each, trying to convince me to come in and pay the $plus taxes which will be around $ I asked what about the $I paid already to have my brakes fixed, he said that's your fault because you had your own brakes, and that he would charge me more money to do it right I asked him why didn't the guy just say we can't put other brakes on and stand behind the work, at least giving me the option to continue or do something different.. He said I'm not sure why and he said I did talk to him and he did nothing wrong by putting your brakes on, so the best I can do is reduce the price and repair it, that $is just a lost cause I can't be responsible.I told him, I am not a mechanic and I trusted what your sales person told me, he said the brakes were a very good quality and that I wouldn't have any problemsI see now trusting them was a major mistake, the integrity of the company is questionable with me, not just that locationThey handle this very poorly

Mr*** brought his vehicle in to our facility with a braking issueUpon inspection the service manager found that the brake body lines were leaking brake fluidThe brakes lines were completely rusted out and leaking from previous attempts by another mechanic to repair sections of the brake
lines with compression fittingsThe service manager gave Mr*** a price for the repairs and he agreed to have the vehicle repaired for $Our shop labor rate is $110/hour and our service technician worked on this vehicle for approxhours replacing the brake lines and bleeding out the brake system with a flush machineIn Mr*** complaint he stated himself that we charged over $in labor for hours of work. Therefore labor hours at $110/hour would be a labor charge of $440. We did not over charge Mr*** for the work on his vehicle and can not offer him any type of refund based on his research of calling around to other repair shops for an estimate on repairs without visually inspecting the condition of his vehicle when it came in with a braking issueOur labor charge was correct with the time spent on the repairs for his vehicle

Complainant, has been asked to come by the office should she need any thing other then what has been provided or any additional information s online portal.communication: Both in person and to include: verbal and via online has taken place. All of our residents have the ability to view there...

current status- in this case (notice) is the status In regards to pro-ration on rent our systems do not prorate mid moth even while on notice. Resident was provided there amount due total last week.From this month and there anticipated move out date. Amount due is subject to change if move out day changes.

The amount owed by this complainant is accurate according to our system. The resident and her aunt skipped out of the apartment and did not successfully complete the lease, sufficient notice wasn’t given and balances are owed.[redacted]
