Sent: Thursday, August 11, 1:PM Subject: RE: Faxed - Complaint ID # [redacted] OKAY Here is my Response to the complaintCar Zone repair and sales Garth Rd, Baytown, TX [redacted] To Mrand Mrs [redacted] First off there is no way you drove from Houston to Iowa with the truck overheating that is a lie your engine would have blown up after about milesThe 2000$ in question was several repairs done to the truck non of which had to do with a overheating problemYour last visit you said the truck was getting a little hot so we checked you radiator and it was fine and not seeing any problems we thought it would be safe to replace the thermostat and flush the radiator considering you have never done that beforeYou Heater Core was replaced because you brought it to me leaking and had coolant all over the passenger side floor boardThe day that we replace the thermostat your husband asked if the truck was able to make the long drive to IowaI responded by saying "Its an old truck and I dont have a crystal ball"that day you drove back to Iowa with no problems and then over a month later you contact me and demand all of your money back for every repair we have ever done saying your radiator is bad and we should have checked it well we did check it and it was fine over a month agoYou said it over heated minutes after you left my shop, then why did it take you over a month to complain and why didn't you just bring it back if you were minutes awayI call [redacted] on that And who Charges 1500$ for a radiator? that is a rip off and you should be contacting the Revdex.com about them not usPlease do not call my shop anymore and [redacted] out my crew its very unprofessional and rude (Besides the point) If I recall I do remember your horn working for the state inspection sorry your horn broke afterwardsBut I did fail your inspection because you had water in the front blinkers and you got all mad about itYour complaint about your Drive Shaft, We have never done any repairs to your drive shaft no where in my records does it say anything about a drive shaftFYI Your truck will continue to fall apart just as all old trucks do and you cant just blame the last person who worked on it over a month ago for your new mechanical failuresIf you want to sue us in Court I encourage you to do soYour friend or family member who was pretending to be a lawyer can go ahead and get the process going if he wantsI have all the records of what we have done to you truck with witnesses my self and my mechanics includedWe bent over backwards for you and got you the best prices possible over the course of the last six monthsI am honest and I never try to sell the customer something they dont needBecause I have integrity in my work and I know I am in the right im not afraid of your so called lawyer or any one that trys to sue usHope you get your truck fixed Shaneps [redacted] I know you did not write this complain against us please stop letting your wife string you alongAnd dont let her call my shop any more please Thank you
