Cara Mia's Delicatessen Reviews (3)

I am rejecting this response because: I don't find it necessary for me to respond to his attorney with any further correspondence or documentation other than what has already been established within this complaint. For the record, I contacted the PA Attorney General’s office on 12/11/15 AFTER receiving notice from the Revdex.com on the same date that, and I quote, “our requests have been ignored”. And on the Revdex.com’s advice that; “If you do not hear back from us, it means that our attempts at conciliation have been exhausted and you may wish to contact an attorney or your local or state office of consumer affairs to pursue the matter further.” At that juncture, I had no other recourse to resolve the matter than to contact the Atty. General. It wasn’t until 12/16/15 that a representative from Cara Mia’s finally responded in writing to the Revdex.com. All this is clearly documented within the Revdex.com complaint as well as the complaint to the Bureau of Consumer Protection. As stated in my original complaint to the Revdex.com, and I have stated all along through this process, I'm willing to accept the credit and have this matter closed. That includes closing the complaint filed with the PA Attorney General. It appears the reluctance to resolve this issue lies with Cara Mia’s in that it has taken them 19 days to give their latest belated response. I certainly wish to bring this matter to a close. As I stated before in my last correspondence, if they actually mail the $100 credit via certified mail to the Revdex.com, and then, the Revdex.com can forward it to me, it will prove that they really want this issue resolved as much as I do. Then, after receiving the credit, I will respectfully contact the PA Attorney General and inform them that the case has been resolved through the Revdex.com. This response should suffice for the request for "something in writing".

Dear [redacted],

I received a letter from the Revdex.com about complaint #[redacted] on Tuesday November 24 about this matter. I called your offices on three separate occasions and I did get a phone call back from you on the week of December 1st. In that conversation I went over this matter with you how we have no proof that this event occurred or didn't occur.  When Cara spoke to this person she gave her a date.  When my wife went to look for the gift card /receipt neither  were in that days receipts.  When my wife told her about it she said that it was another date.. Again my wife looked and nothing was found.  The customer stated that a cashier said that they remember putting it in the drawer but everyone working that night told us they don't remember anything like this..  If I was using a gift card I would make sure I knew how much it was for, so I had enough to cover my bill or extra money on me.. My wife and I had to leave the night that she is stating on this complaint to attend a function for our daughter so we have to go by what is told to us.   We have been in business for 20 years and we have seen al sorts of things happen in that time so our guard is up all the time. That being said we offered her a $100 credit at the store. Now I received this letter/complaint from your company stating she has received nothing from us and that she doesn't want to come back to the establishment. As I told you on the phone we issued her credit but she doesn't want it as I found out in your letter to us.  At this point I have no idea what to do with matter.

Regards,
