A gentleman named *** *** purchased a washer and dryer from our location via the Internet.Initially he expressed he was very concerned in buying something usedI encourage people to come to the store personally before we deliver so that they are absolutely sure it's something
their interested in. This prevents a lot of headache for both sidesMr*** declined to come in.When we delivered the peices *** inspected them and made a payment via PayPal.Later that evening he requested a cash refundOur policy as clearly stated is no cash refundsWe can exchange or give him a credit*** then said I would like something new and cheap(I find this type of thinking extremely odd)In any case I informed Mr *** that we didn't have anything in stock and I was waiting for a shipment which would be coming in a week or two. When the shipment arrived we contacted *** so he could visit the store personallyThe machines that interested him where five to years newer then the washer and dryer he originally purchasedObviously there was a price difference which the customer refused to pay.Mr *** was sceptical before he made his purchaseGenerally in my experience customers like this are expecting something to go wrong before anything actually doesThe merchandise he purchased is functioning fine.$including delivery and a day warranty for two appliances is extremely cheapIf the customer wants something in better cosmetic condition and much newer I don't think it's unfair to ask that he pays the difference in cost

-Although I agree I didn't get a chance to see the washer/dryer prior to purchase, I had an extensive conversation with MrC*** regarding the condition of the items and I was constantly reassured that they were in good conditionAt no point did he mention that there was mold in the washer, the leak in the drain system of the washer, flimsy dryer with missing parts, bolted door, and broken dryer partsI discovered these problems only after they had dropped it off and left. -Although he states that he finds it odd that I want "a new cheap unit," I never said those wordsI am attaching screenshots of our conversation showing that he is the one that offered me "newer units" in the first place and I stuck with his claim.-What MrC*** didn't mention is the fact that he blocked my phone number after I tried to reach him several times and had his associate Brian call me back telling me that he had sold his business and was out of the country.-I am attaching pictures of the unitsYou can clearly see the condition of the dryer and the mold in the washerI haven't attempted to use either of them due to the health hazardI work in the Hospital and I believe using these units will put me or my patients at significant risk.-I am still requesting a full refund for the amount of $If the seller thinks the units he delivered are in good condition and usable, then I am willing to use themBut only on the condition that if I get sick or if any of my patients get sick as a result of me using these units to wash my clothes, MrIsidore C***, his associate Brian, and "C*** Appliances" will be held fully responsible under the extent of law.
