with the car wash A quick examination of the part will show that the metal has deteriorated over the years, and it was just a matter of time until the emblem would fall off Our signage at the front of the car wash clearly states that customers are responsible for anything on vehicles over 100,miles or years old or older This car was well beyond both of these limits Our signage also states that we are responsible only for car wash malfunctions In this case, the car wash operated properly as the cause of the problem had to do with the age and the inevitable wear and tear At her convenience, Ms*** can visit the car wash to see this signage which is posted right on the menu boards.Just a cautionary note, this Mercedes model is notorious for other issues as well including molding and trim issues, antenna issues, and most seriously, issues with the exterior mirrors Many of these Mercedes vehicles have experienced the problem where the spring mechanism in the mirrors break causing the mirrors to move freely She should be mindful of where the vehicle is parked so as to avoid any contact with the mirrors or passersby who may accidentally bump the mirrors. of scratching cars under any scenario In fact, you could not make our car wash scratch a car even if you tried Let's disregard that fact for a minute, and say that hypothetically, the car wash could scratch a car Even in that scenario, it would not be possible to suddenly start scratching the vehicle in the middle of the vehicle without scratching first at the front of the car and then also at the rear Basically, even in this hypothetical scenario, Ms***'s claims are without merit In addition, the scratches on Ms***'s vehicle are very deep These scratches on were caused by contact with metal and not by foam car wash material The side mirrors on any vehicle stick out the furthest, and consequently they are most often scratched in parking lots when someone opens their car door into the adjacent vehicle's mirror
As for the discoloration on the plastic, how could the same car wash chemicals that are used all over the vehicle cause discoloration only on side? The answer to that question is actually very simple and has to do with where Ms*** parks her vehicle at her house I would be wiling to bet that she parks outside on the left side of her driveway And even if the sprinklers do not directly hit her vehicle, the mist caused by the sprinklers, whether hers or her neighbors, is settling on the driver's side of her car This sprinkler mist, which contains mineral deposits including iron and calcium (among others), will easily cause the plastic trim to discolor Ms*** will understand this better as the discoloration becomes more pronounced over time due to continued exposure to the sprinkler spray
