I hope this company gets shut down they have no customer service they make it clear that they do not care about answering questions or helping with their website and their application. I am on boarding with delta and all 5 of us that got hired at the same time are experiencing the same problem. Ten years worth of job history is on the application I received 8 different emails they want me to submit 8 different W2s or paystub to provide that I worked at these places for my ten years worth of employment history. So what is the point of giving them the information on the application? Why am I doing all of the work ? When you call their customer service and ask them where to submit the W2/ paystub they are asking for they tell you to look on their website and can not tell you exactly where to upload the extra information that they are requesting this is not part of the application this is literally extra information that they are requesting that they can not help you submit. When we asked for better help such as a supervisor we got hung up on

The matter in which this individual is inquiring is regulated under the [redacted]. In accordance with the [redacted] the complainant filed a dispute with CARCO regarding his prior employment.  Pursuant to this dispute a reinvestigation was initiated and contact was...

again made with the complainant’s former employer who confirmed the information as originally reported. Subsequent to receiving this information and a consumer statement from the complainant, CARCO issued a report to Waste Management which included the re-verified information and the complainant’s statement.
CACO Group, as previously stated to the complainant in letters, does not make the hiring decision. The ultimate decision as to whether an applicant is hired is the decision of the employer. CARCO did reach out to the prospective employer to discuss the circumstances of the situation regarding [redacted] and the prospective employer, after careful deliberation and assessment, maintained its original decision.

Review: My job offer with Comcast relied on an investigation through CARCO Group. The investigation showed that my high school diploma is apparently invalid. I have tried to get in contact with someone many times to dispute the information. The website for the school where I got my diploma states that they are not accredited but my diploma was accepted by the US Army and various other investigative agencies in the past. If my diploma is accepted by the federal government then it should not be so hard for it to be accepted by a civilian investigative agency. Comcast has since retracted their job offer and suggested that I contact CARCO to dispute their findings in order to change their decision. They insist that they are very interested in hiring me and that all CARCO has to do is say my diploma is valid. I cannot do this is no one answers the phone. I cannot provide for my family if I cannot get a job. Veterans should not be treated this way.Desired Settlement: I need them to change the report they sent to Comcast to state that I do, in fact, have a high school diploma so that I can begin working to provide for my family.

Please note, that the matter to which this individual is inquiring is regulated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The decision as to whether his educational credentials are acceptable is not within the purview of CARCO and is a decision undertaken by Comcast...in other words, it is not CARCO's decision as to whether the non-accredited education is acceptable, it is Comcast's criteria as to whether such an educational background fits the requirements of the job for which he has applied.

CARCO is a "Consumer Reporting Agency" and as such is governed by the requirements of the FCRA. If [redacted] believes that the report is inaccurate (information is omitted, it is reported in error, the details related to the education are incorrect from a factual standing) then a dispute process can be initiated which will result in a reinvestigation of his background and if, in fact, the information was inaccurate or incomplete a new report will be filed with Comcast in accordance with the FCRA. If after the reinvestigation, [redacted] still believes that the information is inaccurate he can add a personal statement to the report for consideration by Comcast.

I am sorry that [redacted] was unable to get a hold of anyone. Our telephone numbers are manned by people from 9:00 AM eastern time till 8:00 PM eastern time and are available to discuss any Consumer concerns. Furthermore, [redacted] would also have the opportunity to contact us in any of the ways available at our website at the following link:

I will immediately have our consumer dispute people initiate contact with [redacted].

Thank you for brining this to my attention.

Best Regards,

Best Regards,

Review: Carco Group completed a review of my education credentials; erroneously changed my Masters degree from Troy State University to a Bachelors degree. They documented they talked to someone over the phone (not reviewing documents or my diploma) and relayed this to my employer who changed my education status. This came up during my performance review and will affect my pay and potential for applying for management positions in my company or any employer this information has been reported too.Desired Settlement: Correct my degree and the errors Carco Group reported on my major and the graduation dates. My BS is from [redacted] University and my MS is from Troy State University. I believe I deserve compensation for my time to correct this issue.

Response:

In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) a dispute was initiated and a re-investigation of [redacted]'s background commenced. The reinvestigation indicated that the information provided by the educational institution through a third party verification service was incorrect. Working with the educational institution and the third party service, CARCO was able to correct the information so that this report, as well as future instances, would reflect the correct information. The background investigation was corrected, the employers who had requested the original background were notified and provided a new report, and a copy was also sent to [redacted] for his records. The reinvestigation was closed and [redacted]'s complaint with the Revdex.com should be resolved.
