In Regards to Complaint #*** from 11-5-Regarding *** ***.Mr *** brought a car into us that started out to be a cheap paint job in the process he decided to do a complete restoration on the car and with a restoration job the cost was more expensive and very time consumingMr ***
was very difficult to deal with and wanted things to move at a faster pace than what we could accommodateWhen involved in a restoration several parts and pieces get sent out to various locations to restore certain piecesHe had threatened to stop payment on the deposit that was made through his credit card and at that point we asked him to provide us with cash or a cashiers check for the work we had performed and we would refund his card on the spotWe would not release the car to him with him threatening to stop payment on the work we had already done and risk not getting paidThere are several emails that go back and forth to validate this. We advised Mr *** that we could no longer work on his car with the continued demands and yelling and threatening that he was doing and would be best if he took to someone else to completeWe did have a legal document drawn up that would protect us and at that time he came in and picked up the car and all the parts and we issued a refund of $for the remainder of his deposit and he then took his car out of the shop. Thank you *** ***Vice President CarcoaQuality Body& Paint
