Card Enterprises Reviews (4)

On July 22, *** *** purchased a *** *** from Card Enterprises. We had her approved and financed through a sub prime lender due to her current credit history. She needed to be able to prove income from both jobs that she entered on
the credit application. When the lender, *** *** received the original contract they had reached out to her and she could not prove her income from her first on the application. *** *** returned the entire deal and voided the contract. If she were to be able to provide POI thn a new contract would be drafted. This was unsuccessful so we proceeded to find another finance company for her or she would have to return the vehicle. We contacted *** on several occasions explaining all of this. We were successful in finding another company to finance her, *** *** ***. In order for this approval Card Enterprises had to reduce the purchase price of the vehicle. We feel we went above and beyond to try and help her with her current credit challenges. *** refused to accept the situation and come into our office to discuss the matter or sign the new contract with the new finance company. Her response to us was that she did not need to come inShe had registered the vehicle and was current with her insurance, therefore she owned the vehicle. At her request the new finance information was emailed to her and she continued to refuse to come in. At this time several conversations transpired between ***, the owner of Card Enterprises and management. All to no avail. She continued to refuse to come in and sign the new contract or return the vehicle. After failed negotiations and plus days and miles later the vehicle was assigned to a repossession company. She refused several attempts for the vehicle to be repossessed. She even went as far as jumping in the vehicle and attempted to drive it off the ramp truck. She then proceeded to call the local authorities. Once the *** Police was on site they also informed her that Card Enterprises was the sole owner of the *** *** and she was driving a stolen vehicleIt is our opinion that Ms*** was fully aware of the situation and was taking advantage of our kindness and generosity. We never possessed her vehicle that she was trading in. It was never scheduled to be towed from her property since we never had a finance contract to facilitate. The down payment was returned to her by mail minus the repossession fees. Sincerely,*** ***, Office manager

I went to this business because of the ad that I saw for them “100% Guaranteed Credit Approval”I did fill out the proper paperwork that I had received from ***When I returned with the application form all filled out, *** got on her computer and started to put in my informationShe found that I had an existing car loan already, so she would not be able to get approval for another onePlease note, the one car loan that I did have would be paid off shortly after I got the loan, and as of today, is paid off in full I wasn’t rude to ***, I did call into question the ad that I had read that said “100% guarantee” She said “it must be a misprint”
Regards,
*** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
The response from the Dealership is false on many levels. Upon the start of the process in purchasing my vehicle, I was asked to provide proof of income from my employment, as well as 10 references. I listed my current jobs, of which there were 3, and provided the dates of employment for all and the means in which I was paid. I provided copies of paystubs from [redacted], which was my full time job, and listed [redacted] and [redacted] as my other employers. The dealership approved me for the loan, I signed all documents for the vehicle through [redacted], and left the Dealership with my vehicle.Shortly after the purchase, I received a call from [redacted], a phone interview, which again, verified my employment, the amount of down payment, and to verify if I had agreed to purchase an extended warranty on the vehicle in the amount of $800+/- dollars. I informed them that I was unaware of the charge for the extended warranty.I then received a call from the Dealership, telling me that we had to "Get this straightened out" with the warranty. I went back to the dealership on many occassions to work through the warranty issue. Although I was unaware of the charge, I was convinced by the dealership that I would not have been approved for the loan if I did not accept the extended warranty. [redacted] told me this. I agreed to just leave it attached, even though I felt it had no value, because it didn't cover anything. All was dormant for a bit. Then the dealership began calling again, demanding I come into the office and sign new paperwork. They repeatedly threatened that if I did not, they would come and take my car. I asked "For what?" They stated they were going to put it through someone else. Card instructed me that I was approved through someone, that he had pulled some strings. That I was 100% guaranteed. After repeatedly asking who, he gave me a name and a phone number for [redacted]. I called there and spoke with a representative. They instructed me that I could not have a 100% guaranteed approval, because they didn't do preapprovals. I asked the Dealership what the terms would be on a new loan. I received one email, of a snapshot, with a different payment amount, than the original. I asked for the terms in repeated phone calls. They refused to provide them. Shortly there after, I received a letter from Card Enterprises, demanding a payment in full of close to $10,000, or again the threat of taking my vehicle. The vehicle's purchase price wasn't even $10,000, and I had provided a down payment and a trade-in. They allowed 3 days for full payment, from the receipt of my letter. I sent an email. Received no response back. I stated in the email that the financials made no sense.I contacted the State Police on the matter. They reviewed all my documents. They instructed me that all my documents were in order, and that Card Enterprises didn't have the right to take my vehicle. All is on file. I was working at my Real Estate Office, when a tow truck pulled in. I instructed the driver that he did not have the authority to take my vehicle, as the repossession order was issued by Card Enterprises, and not [redacted], the lender. I sat in my vehicle and waited for the police to arrive, so they could review documentation (Registration/Insurance/Loan Docs). When the officer arrived, I provided all information to her. I asked her if she would like me to call the Finance Company. She chose to only call [redacted]. I waited in the car while the officer talked to [redacted]. At the end of the conversation, the officer came to my car door, and instructed me to get out of my vehicle, because if I didn't, I was going to be arrested for driving a stolen vehicle. I had no options at that point. Based on Card's word alone, the officer responded. I asked her repeatedly how she could possibly make a determination such as this, when it is a Civil matter. Since the incident, a complaint has been filed against the officer at the EPD for her response in the matter. At no time, was my vehicle, a stolen vehicle.Card Enterprises had Title to my 2002 [redacted], as well as my downpayment. I called repeatedly asking when my monies would be returned. [redacted] was always out of the office, and nobody else could help me, at least that is what I was told. For a week, they had possession of both of my cars and all of my money. Left me stranded. Approx a week, week and a half after incident, title to the [redacted] was sent back. To date, no money has been returned that I put down on the vehicle. I believe I have called 6 times for my downpayment. The last answer I got was that it was not coming back.           [redacted]
