Mr*** reported an unusual utility bill Mid February 2015, at that time we started addressing the issue to get the problem fixedWe based our refund to Mr*** on the utility bill he provided covering the time frame he first reported the
issue (Feb 2015) in the amount of $248.70, March Utility invoice that covered the following period was the amount of $We determined that refunding him the full difference was the correct amountMr*** is requesting an amount from before we were notified of any issuesWe are unable to correct an issue without knowing of it and according to his lease agreement he is required to notify in writing any work orders to the management office

They just don't want to own up to their responsibility to their tenantIt is not the tenant's responsibility to know a water heater was bad and caused bills to go greatly up in amount

Attached are two items that show the date of the request from the resident that he had an issue along with an email showing the completion dates of the plumbing and the carpet cleanMr*** providing bills from previous dates shows he knew there was in unusual increase in fees and yet he failed to notify the management office until February It is the resident responsibility to notify the management office of any issuesAs stated prior the credit to Mr*** account was based on the bill during the time we were notified and the bill following the repairsThis will be our last correspondence to this matter as we stand by our calculations and lease agreement

There is no where in the lease that said that I would have to notify of bills increasing or going upI am not a maintenance manThat is ludicrous to be held to something that is not even in the lease and would require a pro like the one I hired to find the faulty maintenance work done after the call to the officeNot acceptable! You are in the wrong Cardinal Apartments and I will go to the media if not resolved this time
