This offer is not at all acceptable We were offered the $price which covered the stairs and the square foot family room, which we had planned to do when we called with the offer couponI have scanned in a copy of the coupon I did agree with the protective spray which is $bringing the total to $ I would like a credit card refund of the difference The total charge came to $($+ $in Tax)., totally over sold We should be getting credit card refund of $ The offer to credit us $toward the next cleaning is not acceptable under any terms This is an insult In our line of work, we refer our customers to carpet cleaners After this experience, I will go out of my way to in no way refer business and will in fact explain the "Bait and Switch" tactics that the Cardinal Chem Dry company permits The technician pushed all the extras and only cleaned, in a standard fashion the square foot family room and the stairs for an insulting cost of $+ $Tax = $ It appears that this "Bait and Switch" tactic works as they are very comfortable and firm in offering the credit of $toward the next cleaning I hope as a consumer, that I can stop this in its tracks and others will not be drawn in by this coupon, which is just an opportunity for them to come in your home and pressure you into add ons that bring the price more than double the amount of the offerThis company is very short sighted, as we have been in business for over years and have not had this occur in the past When we discussed what had happened to us, our friends and clients were appalled and are encouraging us to put this company in a low rating to help others not have a similar or same experience I have also communicated with another organization that rates businesses in the DC Metro area and have given them a poor rating I do hope that they see the reality of their position and agree to do the right thing and give us a credit card, credit of $(Two Hundred and Seventy Five Dollars) For a company of this size, this is negligible and should be something they do right away to keep their customers coming back and happy There is no service that they will do with a $credit toward the next cleaning

I am rejecting this response because it took
the business owner at least phone calls to finally agree to the agreed amount (which was after the complaint). The dates will show you the procedure was completed on August and the refund, after weeks of calling and trying to make it right, was finally given back to us. The owner was disrespectful on the phone to my girlfriend by talking down to her and kept shouting to her "he signed the contract" and did not accept the constructive criticism that his business was only about trying up selling customers Yes, I was the one who signed the form; however, it is almost two months later and I am still dealing with a service that we did not need nor want. We are active duty military and we don't need to ask for a refund just to get a refund; it is about the principal that we paid for a service and did not receive it (*** *** Voucher). The company should have walked in and said, let's start cleaning and left it at that. I will reject his response because he is responding only because he had to. The Revdex.com, in my opinion, has done its job by opening a fact based forum and I appreciate all of your work so far. I appreciate you holding businesses accountable for poor customer service no matter the result we receive.V/r,

December 15, 2014Dear Sir or Madam;This letter is in response to case # ***.The offer the customer received was honored, regular prices are cents square foot and steps are three dollars per step so the $99,charge was honored($217.00)The additional treatments that customer decided to
buy are only offered or suggested based on caipet needs, in this case there was pet stains on carpet.We only do the work once customer approves it.We still offered the $credit towards next cleaning.Sincerely,OMAR G

Review: To whom it may concern:On August 20th my girlfriend purchased a [redacted] voucher for the Cardinal Chem-dry company. I scheduled off to be the one letting them in from 0900-1200 for the 0900-1100 block of time they requested. Their arrival time was 1130 and the two person team told me they were late because of a prior customer "talking their head off"I told them I had a strict schedule but I shrugged it off with no hard feelings. The worker did not say where do I start, the worker started on a canned advertisement schpeal that I did not have time to listen to and I told him I just wanted to get the carpet cleaned asap because I had to go. He said, are you sure because spots come back if you do not get to the root of the problem. I said I'm sure but he kept speaking about how I would have to call in six months just to get the same thing done again. I of course broke under pressure and under time constraints just because I needed to get to work.This whole time the Cardinal Chem Dry DID NOT mention one thing about the [redacted] voucher until I asked. Once the worker finished placing 6 gallons of [redacted] onto the carpet I realized I had made a huge mistake. The carpet was soppy (soaked) and it was like walking on cold drenched carpet. I told him "my girlfriend is going to freak out". Once they left at 1300, 1 hour after the time allotted I went to work. My girlfriend got home and called me and asked what happened. I told her what they offered me and she immediately called to get a refund because Cardinal did not do what they agreed upon. "[redacted] Voucher only" being used. She called three times before getting a hold of a manager and she said I want to speak to the owner...the manager (Roddie) said I am the owner and I will only give a $250 dollar refund because John had signed for the service. She reluctantly said yes and we have never gotten the money refunded. We have called at least five times since then and they have screened our calls.Desired Settlement: We would like to request a full refund for the $477 that was charged to [redacted] on 08/26/2014 and charged on 08/27/2014Sale CHEM DRY CARDINAL INC $477.00[redacted], VA [redacted] USOnline, Mail, or Telephone transaction back to our account. They have not kept their end of the $250 refund bargain and we will not waste any more time trying to contact the company. Review: We recieved the coupon flier and thought we would give Cardnial Chem- Dry a try. They came Late to the appointment, tried to sell me on 1000.00 of extras! WHen I said no thank you he was totally irratated and "cleaned" my carpet 2500 sq feet in 20 mins. It tuned out awful! I am unfortunatly goin to have to get them redone. I called the business and asked them if they were willing to have the owner look at the work and work with us on this issue and they said no. Its really sad I have never had to call a bussiness back or write the Revdex.com but it was really awful. I dont want anyone else to have the same experience. Please look up a company before you call them.Desired Settlement: I didnt mind paying for their time but I wanted a refund on the service.

We do not have a coupon for 2500 sq feet for $330.00 we did work for 1400Square feet for $330.00 flyer enclosed.We did the work even though the carpets were heavily soiled and needed heavy duty treatments.Costumer inspected our work after we were done and approved of it (signature enclosed)Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
