Cardinal's Sales & Service Manager called this member directly, waived his fees, and explained the easy process of upgrading his account to avoid said fees, etc. We do everything in our power to help members whenever possible, but sometimes circumstances limit what we can do. As a result of the [redacted] Amendment, Merchants were granted changes in the way they are processing transactions. Most choose to do so under the amount of 550.00. These types of transactions are referred to as Pin-less Pinned transactions This means that Merchants can push the transactions through as "Debit” transactions instead of "Credit" transactions which require no signature. This often happens without the customer knowing. In addition, Merchants have taken away the choice of the customer to choose. It was passed under the pretext that the Merchants would pass on the savings to the consumers in the form of lower prices. In spite of the circumstances, we do wish to thank you for calling this case to our attention. Make no mistake about it. we intend to do even-thing in our power to earn the trust of our members. We want to be sure you know that we truly appreciate their patronage, and as a member-owner we hear their concerns and welcome their opinions.
