Cardinal Door was very responsive when I called them. The tech was professional and friendly and explained everything that he was doing. Highly recommended them!
I have been using Cardinal Door for over ten years. My first experience with Cardinal was when they installed a Lift-Master garage door opener in my previous home. I am very glad Cardinal Door recommended this opener, as the Lift-Master App is truly useful and valuable.
I then had Cardinal Door back to my previous home in October 2016, to install a new garage door and to repair damage from a car running into the side of garage where all the framing and door trim was located. The work was done on time and the quality of workmanship was excellent. Not only did Cardinal put in the new door, but they also installed new wood around the frame as well as all the new trim. I was quite pleased with the price. Mark was responsive and explained different options for the new door as well as how to make the needed repairs.
When we bought a new home in December 2017 I immediately called Mark as we needed new openers and new doors. Again, all options were explained. Color and window samples were provided. The pricing was as expected (I was so comfortable with Cardinal that I did not get other bids for the work).
Cardinal worked around our construction schedule, doing the work in two phases. They were flexible, on-time, and again the quality of craftsmanship was excellent.
Finally, there are inevitable small items that come up during an installation. Things like the location and type of remote openers, lights, electrical connections, how to connect the opener to the app, etc..... Cardinal handled each of these items cheerfully and helpfully, and never quibbled about more money.
I highly recommend Cardinal Door!
Terrible customer service. This company installed my garage door. when they installed it, they didn't bother to properly align it, nor put in the right amount of track screws. When I called them, the Managers reply was "in order to get a tech out, you will be charged a service charge as well as whatever the cost is to install/replace anything". What? This place didn't install my door properly in the first place & now I have to pay for them to come out & fix THEIR mistake? This company already got money from me when they installed it. It is not my problem that they have untrained, incompetent people working for them that do not know how to properly install doors. Basically, my garage door is just hanging on by a screw. if this door falls because they were too greedy to come out & fix it properly, they will have a lawsuit coming their way. I do promise that. I have pictures I can post of their shotty work as well. I believe this company needs to make their mistakes right, or be shut down
The work that this customer is referring to was done by Cardinal Door nearly 4 years ago. The issues noted by this customer were pointed out to her by another company's garage door person. We offered to send someone out to verify the issues and then provide her a quote if it was necessary. She refused to let us send someone out to do that and kept insisting that we fix the issues. We still are more than willing to go to her residence and verify that these issues exist. No pictures have been provided to us.
I would let them come out if it was a FREE service charge but the arrogant manager said he needed to charge me in order to send a tech out. I refuse to pay for one of their people to come out for a mistake they originally made.
