A contract was executed by Cardinal Home Improvements representative [redacted] and the homeowner on January 21,and a standard 1/down payment was received as recommended by the B.B.B No start or completion dates were stated in the contract Any mention of these dates would be merely guesses by the representative Any allegations from a former emplyee (working for a competing company) are just that-ALLEGATIONS The complany has earned an A+ rating with the Revdex.com and has every intention of honoring this contract The permit has been submitted and approved and installation could be scheduled as soon as possible

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I do not trust that Cardinal Home Improvement will fulfill their end of the contractWe have left multiple messages weeks ago (with our phone number) on multiple voicemails at the backup phone number mentioned in their response and have yet to hear back from them (nor have we been able to speak to a live person)They have had our number since we signed the contract and were supposed to call us once supplies were ordered and never didWhy was Cardinal able to respond to the Revdex.com, on a visible platform to portray themselves as making an effort to resolve the situation, but didn't think to reach out to us first, or at all for that matter? We don't want to move forward with someone who may start a project, disappear, and then not be able to get a hold of themThe only acceptable business response would be for Cardinal to offer our downpayment backWe would like our downpayment back asap Sincerely, [redacted] ***

A contract was executed between Cardinal Home Improvements representative *** *** and the homeowners on October 25, In this case a less than standard 1/down payment was waived, and a $down payment was approved by the owner No start date or completion date was
mentioned in contract and Cardinal Home Improvements was to wait until home owner contracted and completed concrete work and informed Cardinal Home Improvements To this date this has not been completed.Any allegations from former employees working for a competing company is very unprofessional and disturbing

A contract was agreed upon between a Cardinal Home Improvement representative *** *** and the homeowner including a standard down payment of approximately 1/down as recommended by the B.B.B No start or completion date is (or ever would be) stated in this contract Engineered
drawings as well as a permit were acquired and paid for Any conversation with a former employee is unprofessional and ilrelevent. The phone system at Cardinal Home Improvements was knocked out by storms months ago It wasn't until recently that the company became aware that the system had not been reset to all for proper voice mails As wer have done for over years, we are making every effort to complete every project as quickly as possible

A contract was executed between a Cardinal Home Improvements representative *** *** and the homeowners November 8, that included a down payment of $20,000, approximately 1/of contract recommended by the B.B.B No start or completion date was stated on the contract A permit
was retained and paid for prior to materials bought and paid for to start project At that point, the homeowners were asked to put down another 1/as stated on contract.Any statements from a former employee are inaccurate and basically false These kinds of and inaccurate allegations are exactly why Cardinal Home Improvements is struggling to maintain operations Through all this, Cardinal Home Improvements is not closed and is operating to the best of our ability to complete and all projects as quick as possible

A contract was executed between Cardinal Home Improvements representative *** *** and the homeowners on January 25,including a less that standard 1/downpayment In this case, less than 25% down payment was approved by the owner No start or completion dates are stated on the
contract Any dates made by the representative would be merely a guess A permit was acquired and paid for on March 14,2017.The phone system at the office had been disabled by previous storms and Cardinal Home Improvements was just recently made aware of this A phone number has been posted on the doors and voice mails can be retrieved from that number The lock o the door is a real estate lock and has been on there since we moved in some 3-years ago.The issues, as well as numerous attempts by other to interfere with Cardinal Home Improvements and daily operations have resulted in a longer time to get jobs completed As always, Cardinal Home Improvements will make every effort to complete all projects as quickly as possible

My husband and I filed a lawsuit against CHI and have also been in touch with the Mo. Attorney General's Office. We got a judgment recently in our lawsuit against CHI in St. [redacted] County and are trying to collect on it.

I am rejecting this response because:The Production Manager for Cardinal Homes had been in contact with us indicating that the job was going to begin "any day" beginning around February 1 2017.  THe last communication we had with this representative was around  March 21, 2017.  We have had NO contact from the company since then.  We were promised by the sales representative that the job would be started around the first of February. The emails from the Production Manager confirmed this to us as well.  While the contract does not have a start or completion date, it was communicated to us that this job would be started within 4 months of signing the contract-both verbally and by emails.  As a consumer, how long am I expected to wait until the job is started-2-3 years?   By all appearances, the company is out of business.  We have pictures of the door to the business with a padlock on it.  We called the phone number listed by the business as the "alternate" phone number and no one has responded to us.  An email was sent via Angie's list and we have had no response.  There are numerous comments on the Cardinal Home Facebook page that confirms others also believe the company is out of business or that jobs have been left incomplete.   We no longer want to do business with Cardinal Home Improvement.  We would appreciate the return of our deposit.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:It is not an allegation that Cardinal Home Improvement is out of business as their office is closed up and I've also attempted to contact them numerous times during normal business hours and their phone rings continuously and no one answers.  I also tried contacting the project manager as I had his card with his cell phone number that I had previously used back in February and also in March when I attempted to find out what was going on with our deck back then. His cell phone used to go to voicemail and now it just rings and rings with no answer - same as the main business office.  This company has received over $9,000 from us for a deck that was supposed to be finished by now according to not one, but two people who represent their company - the salesperson and also the project manager who was supposed to oversee our deck project. The month of April is now over and we still have not heard anything from them except for this response via the Revdex.com. There is no way for us to contact them as they have closed their doors and do not answer their phone.  The two employees are agents of this company and therefore their word about when the deck should be completed by is a representation of this company's promises to do what they were contracted to do.  Because they have NOT honored their contract with us and have not done the work they agreed to do, we expect to receive a full refund of the money we paid them ASAP in the amount of $9,155.  The reason we went with this company was because of their A+ rating with the Revdex.com at the time.  They are definitely not a company that can be trusted to do business with!
Sincerely,  [redacted]
Linda Blank
