There will be no refund forthcoming, regardless of how many times this customer rejects our responseI will schedule for any time convenient to the customer, including weekends, so as to not Interfere with her work schedule

would not be making that appointment, and have also reached out to reschedule I will happily return on Monday morning 8-15-at 9am to wrap this project upI will not be making a refundThe air conditioning has been in operation all summer, and pending the completion of the gas line, the furnace will be able to be used as the weather dictates....typically October or so

As of my last contact with this customer, I informed them that I would repair this leak at no charge, as a courtesy, within the next few weeks as time allows. The location of the leak is NOT under warranty,as it was part of the existing piping that was not installed by us. I also pointed out that...

this leak was likely created during the construction of the deck they recently built. In that this was not a part of what was covered under the warranty, there will be no warranty extension.  Additionally, should they opt not to wait for a courtesy repair, they are free to proceed at their own expense with any other service provider.

I am rejecting this response because:  On August 4, 2016 Cardinal Mechanical came to my home (the owner and one worker).  Joe Ward (owner) did not come in my home nor did he speak with me.  His worker came in my home to fix the piping and the pressure (again).  His worker was in the basement for quite some time and I went to see what he was doing.  He told me there was a leak in the manifold and he was watching it.  The Cardinal Mechanical worker re-duct taped the duct work that was blowing cold air into the basement and told me the duct was probably clogged.   Per Cardinals advertisement with new installation of Heating and Air Conditioning, duct cleaning is free.  I was not offered this service.     I cannot continue to go into work late or leave work early for Cardinal Mechanical.  He has had many opportunities to correct this situation.  But he has had many no call no show scheduled appointments.  Unfortunately the few times he did show for an appointment he was unable to complete the job.  Since he is unable to complete the job and cannot keep an appointment, I should receive a refund because I have to hire someone else to complete the job.  All of his services were not performed per our contract.  Yes, he is correct that the air conditioner works in most rooms, not the one that the duct was        re-taped.  Whether or not I need the use of the heater at this time of year is irrelevant to completing the job properly.     The pressure that was set on Aug 4, 2016 dropped from 11 to 5 overnight.  Then to 2 on August 7, 2016 and Zero by August 9, 2016.  Cardinal Mechanical contacted [redacted] Energy and told them the pressure was holding.  Since Cardinal Mechanical did not return to my home to fix this issue, he misinformed [redacted].  [redacted] cannot attach the gas meter to a zero reading air pressure.    Cardinal Mechanical was contacted on August 10, 2016, by me and by [redacted] Energy to come complete the job and fix the leaks in the manifold.  Cardinal Mechanical did not show up for that scheduled appointment on August 11, 2016 at 8:30 - 9:00am. Cardinal Mechanical did not contact me that he was unable to keep our appointment until I received a text at 10:39am on August 11, 2016.     Cardinal Mechanical was paid in FULL to do a job they cannot and have not completed.  I deserve a refund.

Review: Joe was great in installing the product but did not provide the necessary paperwork for warranty or rebates. Have tried to contact him several times over past month but have yet to recieve any return calls. My concern is how to contact him for the contracted twice a year service checks that are part of the contracted price. It seems that no one at Cardinal reurns call made either by phone or by e-mail.

I have since registered for the rebate myself as well as filed the necessary warranty information -- both of which were promised by Cardinal.Desired Settlement: Desire an actual contact number that will allow arrangement and fulfillment of promised future services. If not possible, request a refund of the amount which would have been expended to provide the services.
