I am rejecting this response because: Mr *** *** never returned any of my phone called to discuss this matterMe *** *** dismissed me and told me he has been doing this for 30yrs and should have been aware that the vents were installed improperly Mr*** also was the one who quoted to me that the original builder vented the bathroom vents out the soffits I would not know this as this is not my field of expertise Mr *** stated he spoke with one of my neighbors, *** ***, and he said that's what *** told him If the plywood was off the roof the vents would have been exposed and for $additional I could have had them done correctly instead of having to have mold build up again in my atticPlus it took 18-20yrs for mold to build up not approximately monthsTo me this leads me to believe that the ventilation in the attic is worse then before We are missing a few square vents on roof that were there before even though a ridge vent was installedMr *** knew he was originally called because of mold build up, not because of roofI decided to replace roof and plywood to eliminate this problem but unfortunately it got worse in a shorter period of time If Mr *** supervised this job and has yrs experience he should have noticed in beginning the vents were improperly installedThen to get no response from the owner but to receive a proposal for $to install vents properlyIf this is not their line of expertise then why send me a proposal to vent out ventsThis to me is very unprofessional and unacceptableThis company came highly recommended and I even referred them out but now I am regretful for doing soI was also told to hire a mold remediation company or go purchase cleaner from *** *** I shouldn't have to if the ventilation was installed properly the first time.

damaged plywood was present. Damaged plywood is usually caused by poor ventilation. Included in the estimate was replacing the damaged plywood and increasing the ventilation by installing four IR roof vents and Cobra ridge vent. This would increase airflow and assist in the ventilation process.                              Approximately twenty one months later Mrs. [redacted] requested service due to the appearance of damp and discolored plywood in the attic. [redacted] a serviceman of Cardinals inspected the area and found the following. The bathroom exhaust fans originally installed when the home was constructed were vented into the attic space and not through the roof or soffit areas. This contributes to the moisture in the attic and should be corrected.The proper method of venting these fans is through the roof by means of a approved roof vent. We are not bathroom ventilation installers, which is usually the field of plumbers or hvac contractors. We gave Mrs. [redacted] an estimate to install three broan bathroom exhaust vents to help the moisture in the attic.
Humidity and moisture in attic areas come from various sources found in the interior of the home, correcting these issues can be difficult.
