I am rejecting this response because: My complaint is around customer service and lack of in this case The response states they would be willing to give me a credit which they state is against their policy so why can't I be refunded my money in this case since that is also "against policy" I have no use for a credit to a storage unit I do not need What I could use is my money back I literally went back well within hours of signing a contract I do not understand how this contract cannot be made null and void yet this manager has the ability to bypass other portions of their protocol They also offer a month to month agreement Since I paid for months isn't this a violation of their month to month contract since they let me pay extra and now won't even refund the money for the extra month that is not even here yet? Please explain to me how this is good customer service and honestly not theft of my odd dollars??? What services were rendered?? This is ridiculousRegards, [redacted] ***

The lease was explained, including section 34, item 1, that says "No Refunds will be granted at any time," The lease is orally and visually reviewed with every tenantHe signed and initialed section 34, as well as the entire lease, before payment was ever submittedHe knew the conditions of
the contract before he paid and had every chance to back out of it until he was 100% surePlease note, that I also offered to credit every penny he paid to future rent if he should ever need a unit againThat is against our policy, but I offered it to him to help alleviate the situationI apologized we could not satisfy his requests, but we both have to follow the contracts signed by all parties

*** *** stopped in the office on 10/22/to give notice of vacating at the end of the month of OctoberWe require a 10-day written notice prior to the month end to vacateShe was asked by several managers if she submitted her request in writing of a vacate dateShe could not produce any
documents to show of notice to vacate given prior to the cutoff date of 10/21/To avoid any charges for the November rent, she would have needed to have a written notice to management prior to close of business on October 21, 2017, along with the lock removed from her door and all contents removed prior to close of business on 10/31/All terms of renting and vacating the unit are address in her Cardinal Self Storage Rental Agreement- OhioI reviewed her lease and these policies were initialed by *** *** *** *** son took the lock of her unit door and removed a glass round table top on 11/5/to complete her move-out processAll charges were owed if lock was still on the door on 11/1/17, contents were still in the unit (both making it impossible to re-rent the unit)Tenant is responsible for the full monthly rent as it does not prorate out(Also acknowledged in her rental agreement).I will include a copy of her signed rental agreement (with complete terms) if customer would like me to provide.See time/ date stated notes from customer account below:.10/26/9:AM CB: Email - Invoice10/22/12:PM PC: Note - Tenant came in today to let us know she is moving out at the end of this monthI explained she missed the deadline for Oct, but we could schedule her move-out for NovemberShe said, "Oh, no, Im not paying for November if Im not using itI thought it was 10-days before I moved out." I clarified the policyShe said, "Whatever, Ill just cancel my auto-payment." My complaint is around customer service and lack of in this case.  The response states they would be willing to give me a credit which they state is against their policy so why can't I be refunded my money in this case since that is also "against policy".  I have no use for a credit to a storage unit I do not need.  What I could use is my money back.  I literally went back well within 25 hours of signing a contract.  I do not understand how this contract cannot be made null and void yet this manager has the ability to bypass other portions of their protocol.  They also offer a month to month agreement.  Since I paid for 2 months isn't this a violation of their month to month contract since they let me pay extra and now won't even refund the money for the extra month that is not even here yet?  Please explain to me how this is good customer service and honestly not theft of my 130 odd dollars???
