I am rejecting this response because:I do not feel that the business has addressed the true issue of charging an amount double what other businesses charge for the same service.In the response the respondent states that the van was tied up for five hours, this is an exaggeration and could be supported by the facility. We have used anotherprovider since this has arisen on several occasions and we have been charged almost half of fee that Careavan charged for the exact same trip

In reference to the ride in question, this complaint must be based solely on the say of the escort that rode with the client that dayWe personally inspect our vans every day and there were no dirty latex gloves nor razor blade on the floor when the van in question left for the ride for lisbon nd
We questioned the driver about the ride and his account of the ride is quite differentHe said he didn't offer a blanket and pillow as the van was plenty warm and as far as the door not closing , that van has a power set up that closes the door by it self and the patient rides up front next to the driver tided down so she would have had to turn around completely in her chair to even see the doorAs far as the warning light om the dash its the light that tells you the door is closed properlyI was not rude to Ms ***, I merely explained that rides like theirs we don't normally do because it takes our van all day to do the round trip ride, there and back twice,and that in the future we just won't accept rides from their facility like that anymore, but she didn't want that to happen and now we get a complaint, only our second in years in businessWe performed the service requested by the facility and do not feel a refund is owed they are free to contact another carrier for their future rides

In reference to these ridesthey were originally set up by the facility, whom we then bill for the ridesThe rate we charge is our regular rate we charge the facility for having our van tied up for up to hours to do that rideWe did not find out till later that their client is private pay, the
facility just forwarded the invoice to them when they received itWhat should have been by the facility was to let us know that he was a private pay and then told them what the cost would be and let them decide if they wanted to use our services at that rateThey then could have checked around to see if they could get a better rate before the ride was booked and doneIts unfortunate that this is after the rides have all been done and they have received and paid on one of the rides in question, but now refuse to pay for services rendered for the remaining out standing billsWe object to the way Ms *** characterizes us as taking advantage of the elderlywe do approximately ride like this each and every week, thats about to rides per year and have been doing this for years and this is our first complaint everWe feel that this was not our fault and are still owed the funds for having actually performed the service we were hired to do.?
