Review: I contacted Eric Jones about a 2003 [redacted] Century listed on [redacted] titled "Look at this beauty!!! 2003 [redacted] !!! FLAWLESS - $2500 ([redacted] )" from [redacted]. I showed up at his auto shop and used car lot at [redacted] PA on 8/29 and test drove the car. At that time, Eric presented to me on his phone, a screenshot showing a KBB value of $3,670, with the year 2003 clearly visible. I asked to see the title, but it was not available for inspection at this time. Once we agreed on a price and repairs to be completed before delivery, I left a $100 cash deposit with the balance to be paid on delivery. Delivery was mutually agreed upon to be Sept 3rd. On the day of delivery, I performed a VIN check and discovered that the car was a 2002 model year, contrary to the listing and his representation. When confronted about the discrepancy, Eric Jones admitted that the person making the listing may have made a mistake and he knew all along that it was a 2002 but refused to return my deposit when I opted to not complete the sale upon discovery of this fraud.Desired Settlement: I'd like to have the $100 deposit returned.
