Dear [redacted] ,All our used vehicles are inspected before they are sold to our customers Brake pads are considered a wear out item and none of our warranties will cover wear out items If Miss Sanders was still unhappy with the brakes she should have brought itback to us and spoke with a Manager within the day period Have her provide us a copy of the brake pad receipt and I will look into the matter Thank you,Cindy C***

[redacted] ,I am not sure which vehicle [redacted] is talking about, but she has changed addresses and email addresses since she has purchased her vehiclesThe new vehicle is under factory warranty and I guess Ford sent our documents to her address we had on file We do apologize that this has happen but, we do not owe [redacted] any compensation for her situation and we are not responsible for sending out recall notices The news also puts the broadcast out when a factory has a recall Her new car has a factory warranty and the used car was purchased in My used car manager MrL [redacted] has call and left a message for her, as of today no return phone call.If I can be of further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.Thank youCynthia C***

I am rejecting this response because: I went to Jerry's Ford to pick up the check and I was given a form to sign that required me to forfeit my right to make any additional claim in this manner and forfeit my right to comment on this matter to the media Both of the requirements are not acceptable While I fully understand this may be a common legal procedure when receiving a "settlement", it is not approbate here because this is not a settlement This is a" refund of monies I paid for a product Jerry's for could not deliver - no more no lessJerry's Ford is now holding my money captive, and demanding that I forfeit my legal rights to get it back.

In speaking with my Managers here at the dealership, I was told that the sales person told *** *** that some used cars come with keys and some do not he would checkSome people have the second key when trading a vehicle in and some do not. While the customers were in the office finishing
paperwork the Sales Manager told *** *** that the vehicle did not have two keys and that we did not have room to include making one in the price the car was sold for. If *** *** was unhappy with this answer he could have walked away and not taken delivery of the car. We will not refund the purchase of the key he purchased elsewhere on his own knowing that before he took delivery the *** only had one keyIf I can be of further assistance , please do not hesitate to contact me.Regards,Cindy C***

Dear *** ***:In respond to this complaint I have reviewed the file for this client and *** *** came in and spoke with our managers and was explained how the purchase price of his car was arrived. It was sold to him for $plus tax& tags, reconditioning fees

I am rejecting this response because:
Providing the disclaimer as a blanket for poor customer service. This business has lost a potential return customer and my sincerest hope is that others will take their business elsewhere.  Congratulations on the extra revenue, it pales in comparison to what I will spend in my lifetime on vehicles and service.  I have already filed a complaint with Ford motor company and will be pursuing additional pecuniary measures.

[redacted] [redacted] My [redacted] handled the situation with [redacted]  He came to our dealership on the 30th of June to inquire on purchasing a new Truck. The truck he was looking for is a vehicle that is very limited in availability.  On May 31st we...

tried to secure a vehicle for [redacted] he emailed our salesperson [redacted] to say that he realized that the vehicle he agreed upon was a 5 seat truck not a 6 seat truck, and he would not take delivery of the vehicle that was agreed upon.  [redacted] wrote:"Additionally, I later determined that the vehicle is a five-seater and not a six-seater. I wouldn't have bought a five seat truck. I'm very disappointed that searching for [redacted] trucks is so difficult. I reserve the right to cancel this deal by the close of business Saturday. I came to your dealership with the intent of buying a truck and not jerking you or your dealer around.As you can see there was no Bait and Switch .  Jerry's Ford had all good intentions to locate a vehicle for [redacted] but could not accommodate his needs under terms he was satisfied with. We did return his deposit on the 1st of June and had no intentions of keeping it. [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:This complaint is not closed for me, because the business did not address our request.  A vehicle from a dealer such as this one should come with 2 keys. Indeed, we were told there were 2 keys until the very end of our transaction. We had already signed most of the paperwork when it was dropped on us that there was only one key.  This was a very unethical business practice. At this point, we were not in a position to "walk away" because we were already signing paperwork.  I continue to request the value of a new key, as that is what is owed us.
