Care Fertility

I was a patient at Care Fertility and began having issues with them from the start. I was overlooked and talked over multiple times concerning my treatment. I told them on the initial visit that I was a lesbian and that my partner would not need genetics testing because I had a donor. I was told multiple times that I would need to have my partner tested genetically. I finally broken them out of their compulsive questioning and was told that I would not need to pay for this then, since my donor was from a sperm bank with genetics tests performed already.

I was then told that I was need blood work done which would be $400. This was very expensive and so I went to my women's wellness clinic for blood work that was covered by my insurance. The cost was $0 with my insurance. I had instructed them to tell my Women's clinic what testing I needed, but they sent a form to the testing clinic anyways. I went to have my blood drawn and was presented with two forms, even through I told them that I would not be spending $400 for an exam that was covered by my insurance. I simply told the clinic to ignore the Care Fertility form and had the results sent to my WellWoman's clinic. However, after Care Fertility was sent the results from my WellWoman's office, I saw a $400 charge on my credit card. They fraudulently charged $400. I was not told I had to sign so many legal forms just prior to my insemination. They said they would credit back my account $400 and give me a $200 credit for my troubles. However, they never gave me any money back. After my initial visit for an HSG, I was harassed before my appointments for money owed. I felt so attacked and humiliated by how this woman was speaking to me that I tried to mentor her that she should not demand money for work not performed. I told her that money would come with good work and not before. I later learned that this harassment was policy. I was never refunded any money promised. They fraudulently charged my credit card.
