Dear Revdex.com:
I am very concerned and sad
Since I’ve done career
counseling, consulting, and teaching since 1966, no one has ever sent a
complaint to Revdex.com about me until now. As
a career counselor, I have assisted thousands of college students and alums
clarify their career goals and present themselves to future employers
During the past years, I have
helped numerous adults going through career transitions and sometimes major
life changesI am generally able to assist clients in reworking their resumes
over a couple of sessions
As a career counselor, I assist
people in getting clear about their career direction and sometimes improving
their resume presentations. These two
processes often go hand in hand. Clients
need to be able to review their relevant life history and get as focused as
possible about their goals
In hindsight, this client was
initially willing to become engaged in this processDuring our second session
she appeared to be making progress in establishing clear career goalsWhen she
came a 3rd time, she only wanted her money back and was not willing
to finish the process. She did not seem
to understand that when you hire a consultant to assist with the creation of a
new resume to reflect your new career path, it must be a mutually cooperative
project between a client and the consultant
I am so very sad that she seemed
unable to take advantage of the rich resources available to assist her with
this sometimes difficult transition and wish her great success with her future
choices and decisions
My offer of reimbursement is $75,
since this client seemed a bit scattered during our first session, we simply
needed an additional session to complete the process
Sincerely yours, Marion

I am willing to accept the offer of $75 reimbursement, which is what I requested originally. I do dispute the statements Marion makes as she describes our "third" session because she was fully aware my only purpose in coming to her home was to drop off the paperwork/test that I communicated to her by e-mail that I did not believe would benefit me and to pick up the documents I had given to her on our initial visit. All of that was very clearly stated in an e-mail I could provide at any time.I appreciate the time and attention that the Revdex.com has given to this matter.Sincerely,[redacted]
