CareerBuilder created an account/profile on their website with my information without my consent. My information is available to their users and has not replied to my numerous requests to remove it.
On Monday, March 25th at 10:34am I received an email with the subject line '***, your resume is getting attention'. I was then spammed another 6 times within 30 minute timeframe with the same subject line trying to lure me into their website with potential job offers I do not want. I clicked Unsubscribe, but it doesn't remove my data.
CareerBuilder obtained my information and posted it, and my resume, on their website without my request or consent. ***
I have contacted the company 7 times - 5 times through ***, through the 'How do you feel about this email' link and through the Revdex.com 'email the company' link. That was the only email address I could find after an extensive search.
I have informed them in each communication that I do not give consent to post any of my information, intellectual property or any content that involves me, my resume or my work on their website on my behalf and requested that all data to be deleted.
I have yet to receive a response.
I should not have to chase around a company like this asking them to remove information they posted without permission. ***
Their website has no way to deal with anyone directly about this - no email, toll free number or online chat.
Other (requires explanation) Acknowledgement of my complaint. All data with my information, intellectual property or any content that involves me, my resume or my work is to be deleted immediately. Provide me with which third-party they obtained my information. An apology for wasting so much of my time and for having to chase them down after so many attempts. Contact information (email & phone number) of a representative be made available to me to ensure this is resolved immediately. Stop doing this without permission.
