When we were requested to supply more money toward the deposit, the terms of the lease changed, therefore we didn't technically assume our daughter's lease Therefore, according the real estate law, Arbor Realty was required to provide disclosures and condition list Based on these facts alone we will address it in a legal venue We have already engaged the services of an attorney It is unfortunate that all efforts to negotiate a reasonable resolution have been in vain

To Whom this May Concern:The customer assumed the lease of her daughter.  She did not sign a new lease.  She also assumed the condition of the home at the time she took over the lease.Upon inspection following the customer's move out, the property exhibited an overwhelming odor of smoke....

 We have spent $1285 to expel the smoke odor from the walls, ducts, vents, and flooring.  Copies of the invoices were provided to the customer.Thus we do not believe the customer is entitled to any further refund.Jeanne P[redacted], BrokerArbor Realty
