I am rejecting this response because:The estimator that came out wrote down notes and jotted down a written dictation of what work needed to be performed in order to make the sprinklers work once againThese notes were mistranslated by their staff into an inaccurate estimate which was then given to some workers who followed them thinking this would fix the problem originally set out to doAt the completion of their work my sprinklers were no more working then before they startedProblems in the past arose from Carefree Lawn Sprinklers installing sprinkler heads on my neighbors yard even after given a plot of survey to keep them on my propertyAfter waiting for them to finally move the heads that were grossly installed outside my property line, I found that they only moved two heads and still to this day left one over feet past my property lineThat was also part of my original quote was for them to finish that work started some years priorI had to go to another company before my grass completely died and will continue to incur extra fertilizer and water charges to try and revive a dying lawn from their negligence.

I am responding with the information I have gathered on the incident but I am getting my information second hand, as I was not the person to provide the estimate, I was not the person doing the work on site and I was not on the phone or part of any conversation that led to the complaintThe
information makes no sense but I will assume the customer is being honest.Customer states we gave him an estimate to repair/move sprinkler heads. No one in our office or the customer can provide a copy of this estimate. We did provide an estimate to replace the controller, electric valves and a rain sensor. They were damaged by a lightning strikeThe estimate was based off time and materialWe finished the job in less time than quoted and saved the customer over $on our original quote. Customer states we changed the estimate. If that is the case, no one can provide the original estimate. Not sure why this is a problem. The price we charged was less than the quoted price. We strive to do excellent work at a fair priceThis is the first time we have had an unhappy customer because we charged them less than quoted.I assume the customer has unhappy because he wanted additional work doneWe were unaware and maybe there was a communication problem on our end but things escalated quickly according to the office staff that was working when the customer came in. The customer has extensive notes in our system from past years about problems we have had with him. This was not the first incident. We chose to void his invoice of $534.05, let him have all the work for free and part ways. I spoke to the customer to get his side of the story and it is different than our office staff, however he has had another company out to do the addition work and he has over $of equipment and services for free
