We had no idea the engine was Burning oil.Toyota's have a service engine light not a check engine lightAlso the VSC AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON TO DELETE TAMPERING WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.We offered he customer a option to purchase an after market warranty to cover any unexpected problemsHE TURNED DOWN THE WARRANTY.I contacted Toyota on the oil consumption problem and they said it was normal.We will offer the customer a 50% reduction on labor costs if he chooses to repair problems in the future

We sold this vehicle to [redacted] on 9/21/2016. The Sunroof need to be fixed which had to go out to a qualified shop. We ask her to call us when she was ready and we would set up an appt with the proper shop. We are still waiting to fix the Sunroof, as we promised. We also...

included a 3 month limited powertrain warranty with the vehicle. On 1/18 2017 the customer call us and said the vehicle was running rough. So we told the customer to take it to Midas on cty rd D. The vehicle arrived on 1/18 2017 at Midas. The vehicle was  checked out and was found the customer PUMPED DIESEL FUEL INTO THE TANK. The customer gave Midas authorization to remove the fuel from the tank and fuel system. By this time the Warranty HAD RUN OUT 30 DAYS EARLIER. Customer agreed to pay for the repair on 1/18/2017. Customer did not pay for the repair, STOLE THE VEHICLE OUT OF THE MIDAS PARKING LOT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. Customer called us 9 MONTHES LATER ON OCTOBER 2ND ASKING US TO FIX THE JEEP BECAUSE IT IS STILL NOT RUNNING RIGHT. We declined to help on any any repairs on the engine but we would still honor our agreement on fixing the Sunroof. I told the customer the vehicle has to able to be driven to the Sunroof shop. I told her once she gets it fixed so it can be driven we will fix the sunroof. BEING THE VEHICLE WAS SOLD OVER A YEAR AGO, I WILL GIVE THE CUSTOMER TILL OCTOBER 31ST TO BRING THE VECHICLE TO US. VEHICLE CAN NOT BE TOWED TO US AND LEFT IN OUR LOT UNDRIVEABLE!!!  I am going to assume the Revdex.com WILL DISMISS THE COMPLAINT AS A FRAUDULENT CLAIM.Sincerley,Craig [redacted]
