Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below Cargurus.com is a for profit company and when it takes actions of removing positive reviews because I am not a member, those actions are a form of defamation We contacted Cargurus.com about these actions and they have given me no way to address the removal of the reviews other that signing up for membership to the site What they stated in the response is not the case I don't want my information on a for profit website and my next steps will be filing a lawsuit I have proof that a positive review from Mr [redacted] was made, then was removed, I contacted them about it and Mr [redacted] re-posted a positive review, that review was removed again after informing Cargurus.com about it If that is not actions of defamation I don't know what is There are outcomes I will accept, the first being all my information removed from the site or, if they insist having my "public information" on the site, I want all reviews removed There review system is not open to the public, to have the opportunity to write a review on this site you must first submit an email to the dealership If they are say this is an open forum of information, why not allow anyone to write a review? Another subdiary under Carugus who is taking money from people because the internet buying process is a scamIt is recommend that this company be fully investigated and end this ridiculous scam I would like my money back$even if I have to sueThis is a scam Regards, [redacted] ***

Your company has failed to provide me with any proof as to why I received this review almost a month after the attached email exchange took place. You have also failed to prove why this review does not meet your standard for slanderHow can this statement that every car is in "very bad shape" be even close to accurate when I have national show-winning cars for sale? He also says every car is "high priced," yet I have ***s priced as low as $5,000.This review on your website can be easily found via web search by any of my potential customers Each day it is posted, I am losing business I insist that you remove all information about my business from your website immediately

CarGurus has investigated this issue, and from our perspective this issue has been resolved.We allow dealerships to challenge reviews on our site, which Mr. [redacted] did. review as submitted or to make edits. The person who submitted that review confirmed that it was accurate, so we have left it on the site.

CarGurus.com hosts listings of cars for sale, but we do not sell cars. As stated in our Terms of Use, "CarGurus is not a party to any transaction between vehicle buyers and sellers that originates from information found on the Site.” [redacted] forwarded me the email she received that told her...

to buy iTunes cards, and that email did not come from CarGurus.com. If [redacted] wants to get her money back, we respectfully suggest that she needs to speak with [redacted] or whoever uses the email address "[redacted]."

We invite users to review any car dealership they've interacted with via our site. We have a standard means of verification to prevent dealers from posting positive "user reviews" of their own business.The review of [redacted] attributed to [redacted] did not pass our verification test, so we...

believe it was fraudulently submitted, and we took it down, as we do with all reviews that fail our test.We have also removed all of [redacted]'s inventory from our website, as [redacted] requested in his Desired Settlement.We will, however, keep [redacted]'s company information on our site, as this is public information, and CarGurus.com strives to have at least a business listing for every active car dealership in the U.S.
