Tell us why here...To [redacted] and Revdex.com,There are a number of things that you are not saying in the complaint. Yes, you did contact Caribbean pools on 12/29/14. Yes you did meet with [redacted] in January 15' when he was an employee. However, yes you did buy a pool from him after he was terminated on...

1/29/15. The facts that you are not stating are that 1. My contract on the bottom left say there is no down payment required. 2. In multiple places on my contract it says make all checks payable to Caribbean Pools and you made your check out to [redacted]. 3.I believe you signed a form that states that a down payment no greater than $1000 is allowed by state law. I do feel sorry for you and the day you came in I suggested you call the police which you did. On the following Monday I asked you to provide me with the cost breakdown and drawing of what you bought from him. You have not done that. I offered to build your pool at cost and I told you it would be close to what you are out. You stated that you would not pay another penny and that was not good enough. I am still willing to build your pool at cost, however you have still not provided me with the cost, measurements and all that you signed with him. I think this is fair in lieu of you making the check directly to him and not paying attention to the contract. I hope this offer will help us get past this unfortunate situation.

My experience from beginning to end was flawless, the entire process was fantastic and I would highley recommend Caribbean Pools & Spas, INC.

I don't normally post reviews on Revdex.com but I was so impressed that I decided to take the time to write a review for this fantastic company. We actually had a small issue at the end of our pool build but this company went way above and beyond to satisfy us. Problems and issues arise, no matter how good a company is, but it is the way they handle the issues that sets an ordinary company apart from an extraordinary company.....that is the difference with Caribbean Pools and what makes them extraordinary in my book. If you are looking for a pool builder in the Phoenix and surrounding areas, you need not look any further. Caribbean Pools built a gorgeous pool for us, it was completed in early May of 2016. They were not only the lowest price of all the quotes we received, they also started immediately, like within a few days of signing the contract, and they had our pool completed quickly. From the very beginning, everything was working perfectly and quickly, like a well-oiled machine all the way through to the very end of the process. On the last step when they were to apply the interior finish, we had a hiccup.......the interior finish we ordered required it to be applied on a day when there was minimal wind. Unfortunately, when the time came for our finish to be applied, the winds were pretty strong several days in a row, then would die down for a day or two, only to whip back up again. The company they hired for the interior finish was already running a little behind due to the weather when they assigned our job to them, so with the wind issues, it put them even further behind and after waiting for over a week, I was beginning to get frustrated. Caribbean said they normally have the interior done within 3 days of releasing the job but due to the weather issues, we were in the second week and it was still not done. I sent an email and let them know I was really becoming upset about having to wait so long and wanted to know what could be done to resolve the issue. I was hoping they might have a different company that could fit us in or something. Later that day, the owner of the company offered to upgrade us to a way more expensive interior finish at no additional cost to satisfy us. I was just floored that they cared that much about our satisfaction. We had contemplated going with the upgraded finish in the beginning and we actually really wanted the upgraded interior finish, but since it would have costs us over $3,000 more, we decided against it. For this reason, I know it cost this company and really cut into their profit margin to do this for us. In my opinion, Caribbean Pools went above and beyond by offering us this upgrade to satisfy us, they cannot control the weather and it really wasn't their fault, I was just really anxious about getting the pool completed because I needed it for medical reasons more than anything so from the beginning, I wanted it done like yesterday. I wanted it done before I even signed the contract. :-) I sincerely doubt any other company would have taken such a huge loss to ensure their customer was satisfied. I am just blown away by their professionalism and service! We are so happy with our pool and we highly recommend Caribbean Pools to anyone and everyone who needs a pool built. You will not find a company with more integrity, better quality, and pricing! Thank you Caribbean Pools, you really have an extra-satisfied customer here.

Absolute thanks for bringing the pool in on budget and on time. Well done!!!

WOW!! This company impressed us from the first meeting with [redacted] and [redacted] to the present time. They were so easy to work with and we absolutely LOVE our new pool. I highly recommend them and wouldn't even consider any other pool companies for future projects.

They delivered a quality product on time. There were a few snags in communication but I believe these are typical with any large project with multiple subs. Kathi and Brian worked with me to ensure that the pool was done on time for my daughters visit from Michigan.

This is a great company to work with. They completed the job on time, the pool is beautiful and just what we wanted. I would recommend Caribbean Pools to anyone!

Review: I contracted with Caribbean pools on June 9th, 2015 to have a swimming pool built after several quotes and after a previously excellent experience with them on another build. My dig began June 23rd. The contract estimated a 5-6 week build and of course I understood that this was barring any complications which often arise during a build such as this.

We are now, however, well into week 12 and cannot get our pool completed, despite having paid for it in full. The entire process has been fraught with frustration. Getting a schedule from the company that is followed has been nearly impossible. Delays are a given. Sometimes days, sometimes weeks go by and no one shows up as promised.

Mistakes have been frequent, from a busted pipe in our wall due to a bobcat hitting it, to forgetting to place our umbrella sleeves, to building the wrong BBQ. Our irrigation was broken but not shut off, which resulted in water running for four hours before someone noticed while we weren't home. The plan itself included a safety hazard (pointed out by the workers), that required removal of a planter at additional expense after the original dig.

Mistakes are understandable and fixable. I would not be so disappointed if it weren't for the shockingly bad communication and lack of customer service from Caribbean. Weeks have gone by with no contact and nothing done. No contact from the office and phone calls/emails were not returned. On several occasions, I requested to speak to the owner and was denied. In order to get results, I have had to get into heated arguments with the sales staff. It has been quite a stress on me and my family.Desired Settlement: I would simply like the work done in an expedited manner. I would like the paid for service completed in a professional, timely manner with quality work as promised.

Review: I have been wanting a swimming pool for sometime and so decided to get a loan from my retirement to do this. After doing lots of research, I decided to contact Caribbean Pools specifically because of the A+ rating with the Revdex.com. I called in December as a Christmas present to myself and was told someone would contact me. Someone did contact me and because of the high Revdex.com rating and the price, I decided to choose Caribbean Pools. There was a little gap in communication but it did not surprise me too much. Anyway, on Feb 7, 2014 a man the name of [redacted] came to my house and I signed a contract with Caribbean Pools. [redacted] told me that he requests 30% down so I gave him a check for $6,035.02 as a down payment. I told him that I did not want to finance so I would let him know when I got my tax refund back so he could start digging. Long story short, on 4/3/15 I found out he had been fired when I went down to the company. My issue is that I should have been informed of this because now I'm out $6,000. I would have never contacted this individual on my own. I only call reputable companies and I was told he is "a bad guy".Desired Settlement: I would like for Caribbean Pools to honor the contract that is on their letterhead and give me credit for the money I have already paid.

Review: [redacted] is a sub contractor for Caribbean pools. When they excavated for the pool theres a pre-grade where they grade an area for the pool, after excavation they haul away dirt and the landscaping rocks. They hauled away roughly 3/4 so now I don't have nearly enough to fill back in the yard surrounding the pool.Desired Settlement: That they bring the landscape rocks back to the backyard
