Review: This tanning salon I would go to every once in a while, mainly before vacations. I went 6 months ago and found out it was under new ownership so I lost the tanning sessions I previously purchased then, I had to purchase another package and I did. I went in on April 30th "which I found out happened to be 6 months since I purchased" and I had 4 sessions left in my package but I was told they expired....I didn't know that they expire in 6 months. Ok I still should of been able to use one of them on the 30th because that was the last day, May 1st should of been after the 6 months but the girl said nothing in the computer was showing up and they already expired my sessions? I asked for the manager or owner to call me because I feel like I should of at least been able to use the one on the 30th.Desired Settlement: I would be happy if the manager would at least give me some credit.

Review: In February, I signed up for a monthly deal at Caribbean Tan for $21.99/month for unlimited tanning for the month. I told them at the time I only anticipated using the service for a month or two prior to a vacation and intended to cancel afterwards. This did not seem to be an issue. In April, following the vacation, I contacted Caribbean Tan and told them I would like to stop using their service and stop being charged. They agreed and I assumed my service was cancelled. I was not charged in April for the service, which further led me to believe my service was cancelled properly. In May, I was charged $21.99 for service and again in June and July. I have been contacting this company a minimum of 2-3 times a week for the last 3 weeks trying to get them to remove these unauthorized charges. Their stance has been that they "waived the cancellation fee" so they will not waive these 3 charges. That is not fair because I cancelled in April and they never tried to or even mentioned a cancellation fee. Regardless, they can not keep charging my credit card months after I cancel a service and hold those unauthorized charges hostage by saying "well it's that or the cancellation fee". That I consider a fraudulent business activity. The cancellation fee shouldn't even be in play in this dispute as it was never attempted to be charged. Both the store and I agree and their records show that I have not been in tanning once since I called in April to cancel my service. Their store clerks and even manager have told me they are not authorized to process this refund and seem to be leading me on, hoping I will just go away, and don't seem to intend to want to give me this justified refund. Also every single person I spoke with was very argumentative throughout the process. They failed at least half a dozen times to return phone calls and had an arrogance to their stance in this dispute that I don't appreciate at all.Desired Settlement: Clearly a mistake was made back in April when I cancelled and the person I spoke with removed the charges for the month of April from my account but never cancelled like they should have. I would like a refund of $21.99 per month for the months of May, June, and July which totals $65.97. I also would strongly encourage an investigation by the Revdex.com into their business practices. While I hope this was an accident, I can't help but wonder if this was a willful, fraudulent act based on the actions the store is taking to defend their CLEARLY wrong position. I cancelled the service, I didn't use the service, but they feel justified in charging me and refuse to correct their clear mistake...? I also feel I am owed a written apology from the store for my treatment from their representatives and taking up hours of my time to contest an issue that was most likely a mistake on their end that should have only taken 5 minutes of mine and their time.
