Buying a used car can be a stressful experienceLike most people I know friends that have been ripped off and had horrible experiencesI will research the car I want for hours and know black book, wholesale values etcI also insist my mechanic inspect the vehicle to get his opinionAs a female I sometimes will bring a male companion and give him all the information as some used car salesmen view women as unknowledgeable and prefer to deal with a manUnfortunately this happens often I went to Carimex to test drive a vehicleThey let me take the car to my mechanic that was more than an hour awayI found the sales personnel courteous, respectful and honestI was not exposed to any high-pressure sales tactics or experienced a shady vibe and felt comfortable dealing with them Although I did not ultimately purchase a car I found the experience pleasant and would recommend this dealership to others (especially women who are concerned about dealing with male sales associates) I very rarely write reviews but many used car dealerships are viewed as shady so I thought I should write about a positive experience

This has to be the worst dealership in the tri cityUsually when you're investing so much money into a product/service you expect the sales associate to be honest to youEveryone at the dealership is a ***Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the bad reputation that carimex had but after purchasing a car from them I can confirm this dealership is full of [redacted] When I was signing the papers for my car for security purposes I kindly asked their financial advisor to fix some of the safety concerns I had with the car, he promised me that they ENSURE SAFETY on all their vehiclesSurely that was a lie because after getting my car within one week I had problems with my steering belt (which caused me to be stranded on the side of the road), my battery was useless, the bearings were messed up, the tire pressure was off and the tranny pad was leaking transmission oilWhen I called them back regarding these concerns they simply said "what do you expect from getting a used car" I expect it to b

I bought my [redacted] from CarimexThe dealership was very professional and cleanThe suv was suppose to come with keys but they couldn't find the second one when I picked it up and they said they would mail it to meOnce they realized that they are not going to find it, I thought I was going to get the runaround but instead they had no problems paying [redacted] of London for a brand new key and I didn't get any hassle from them at all I definitely appreciated it

The suv was suppose to come with 2 keys but they couldn't find the second one when I picked it up and they said they would mail it to me. I will research the car I want for hours and know black book, wholesale values etc. I also insist my mechanic inspect the vehicle to get his opinion. As a female I sometimes will bring a male companion and give him all the information as some used car salesmen view women as unknowledgeable and prefer to deal with a man. Unfortunately this happens often.

I went to Carimex to test drive a vehicle. They let me take the car to my mechanic that was more than an hour away. I found the sales personnel courteous, respectful and honest. I was not exposed to any high-pressure sales tactics or experienced a shady vibe and felt comfortable dealing with them.

Although I did not ultimately purchase a car I found the experience pleasant and would recommend this dealership to others (especially women who are concerned about dealing with male sales associates).
