Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that the resolution has addressed the issues in question. I believe it would be helpful to others to have a statement on the Company's website indicating a process by which issues like this could be addressed. It would avoid a lot of unnecessary frustration.

ventilation, which is an incorrect statement.  The house does have soffit ventilation on the side of the house.  The homeowner, Mr. Moore, contacted our office on Thursday, July 13, and he was very angry and belligerent and demanded to speak to the inspector and that we revise the report.  When our secretary tried to explain that she would have Mr. Hedderman contact him to resolve this matter, he would not let her finish and furiously hung up without even leaving his name or phone number.  What she was trying to tell Mr. Moore, but was not allowed to, was that Mr. Hedderman handles all complaints and questions about our inspection reports, and would contact him or his real estate agent to resolve this matter.  Mr. Hedderman drove by the property the next morning, and saw the soffit ventilation on the side of the house.  He immediately revised the inspection report to correct the error and included a photo of the soffit vent in the revised report.  The revised report was sent to our client and our client’s real estate agent, who will forward it onto Mr. Moore’s real estate agent.  The total time elapsed between Mr. Moore calling our office with his complaint, and the issuance of the revised report was approximately 24 hours.  Mr. Moore is incorrect when he says that HEI has an uncaring attitude.  HEI has been serving the Houston real estate community for over 35 years, and we obviously care very deeply about performing quality inspections and issuing accurate inspection reports.  But even we sometimes make a mistake, and when it is brought to our attention, it is corrected immediately. Mr. Hedderman contacted our clients real estate agent to verify the revised report had been send to Mr. Moore's agent, and the agent confirmed it had.
