I love this school!! I had such a good experience. At first I was so nervous to do some of the hands on stuff but they really made me feel confident in what I was doing. They work with you if you need help. In my class they offer extra time for you to come in outside of class time to assist you with any area you need improvement on. They place me pretty fast in my externship and I went in well prepared. I will definitely recommend this school over any school here in this area.

I took the CNA ll/PCT class. I was amazed at how much I learned in this class. [redacted] was an amazing teacher and you could really tell she cares about each one of her students. The crew at Caring for Life are all amazing and do everything thing they can to ensure you learn and are comfortable with your training. If they had the RN program I would totally go there. Thanks to CFL I am on the right tract for my RN Program..

I really enjoyed my experience at CFL. As a student I felt free to ask questions and the material was thorough. The online information was easy to access and very helpful.

Awesome school! Would recommend to everyone!

I loved this place! All of the instructors were great and worked with me personally to help me succeed in the nurse aide program and the clinical medical assistant program. When ever I had questions, [redacted] and [redacted] were quick to help me. I had some personal issues and they even went out of their way to give me some extra help outside of class hours. Right after I got a job, my new employer was really impressed by all of me skills and said I was one of the best new hires they have seen! I can't thank them enough. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be where I am. They really do care about seeing others succeed and go out of their way to make sure you do. I have never found that with another school. Love these guys!

I absolutely love this school! The people are friendly and you learn all you came there to learn. I recommend them to everyone I meet who is looking to start out in the medical field.

[redacted] does not follow Federal, State or regulations of ORBA including many other agencies. Please note that I have contacted all the proper authorities.
[redacted], the RN is the ONLY one who can teach the CNA -1 & CNA 2.
[redacted] has not followed those standards, and regulations.. She was allowing a
CNA -2 & a phlebotomist to teach. One skill was Indwelling catheter care. I don't know what on earth [redacted] was thinking!!!
Myself and MANY others witnessed these atrocities.
[redacted] was also NEVER present for the clinical hours. Clinical hrs means when the students actually go to a hospital setting, or a long term care & do their hands on training. The RN MUST, MUST ALWAYS be there. [redacted] was NEVER, EVER, THERE.. [redacted] put those students at a RISK!!!! When I approached [redacted] about these concerns she always had an excuse.. Such as her not being there at the clinics. [redacted] stated the Rn didn't need to be at clinicals. She said the MED AIDE working there, was acceptable. That was deceptive. [redacted] also did NOT provide 16 hrs of clinics required by ORBA. There were only 2 days of clinics when 3 were required.
WARNING: If you [redacted] she will threaten you. Such as dropping you, There is a great quote. "Leadership is based on inspiration, not domination, or intimidation" I'm hoping [redacted] will learn from this & grasp that money is nice, but so is treating your students fairly for what they are paying you for.
I do NOT recommend this School to anyone!
FACT: Caring for life is being investigated at this time by many organizations. She cannot deny this & if she does I will bring it to the attention of the agencies involved.
Good Luck

BEST SCHOOLING I'VE EVER HAD! Very hands on, makes sure you know and fully understand everything I'm class. I've been to 5 "normal" colleges, from community to technical and I've never had a more available & dedicated set of teachers. Even many of my Dr.s have positice feed back about the school and from past students!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Absolutely worst school I have ever experienced. Unprofessional, cancel classes, don't make up dates, don't follow through on practicum required for the class. The teacher left on vacation and cancelled school for 2 weeks. Didn't make up the days she missed didn't teach the subjects she missed. It was a waste of time and money.

Owner not practicing just and fair treatment among all students.Owner not practicing just and fair treatment among all students. Owner placing specific students within externships by favoritism. Owner is not agreeing to the contract that she made students sign. She allegedly stated we were not able to complete externship on weekends, and awarded certain students weekend externship who she shows favoritism towards. Owner has not helped me in regards to finding and externship and when I tried to approach her became very confrontational. The money for services has already been paid and I have not received proper service.Desired SettlementAs a settlement I expect to either be placed in an externship that allows weekends or a full refund for the service.Business Response /[redacted]/I am writing in regards to Ms. [redacted]. This is the second course of study that Ms. [redacted] has attended at our facility. To successfully complete the program that she is currently enrolled in, the student must attend a 160 hour externship at a health care provider's office of their choice. We try to assist the student as much as possible with finding the appropriate office; however it is the student's responsibility to locate a place especially if they have special requirements (location, hours, and specialty). The typical externship times are Monday through Friday during normal business hours and the student must arrange their schedule to accommodate this timetable. Students are made aware of this prior to registration, again on the first day of class, and sign a document of understanding that these are the requirements for the successful completion of this program. The students were reminded throughout the program the requirements for the externship. As the externship approached, Ms. [redacted] requested only weekend hours for the externship due to a current work schedule. She was made aware that there were no weekend only hours available at any of the contracted sites and that most of the places only allowed week day hours. Ms. [redacted] was given a list of places that she could contact to possibly find one that would meet her special requirements. Ms. [redacted] was given the same opportunities and information as all of the students in the program. On Monday, May 12, Ms. [redacted] approached me while I was speaking with another student. She interrupted and stated she needed an externship with only weekend hours. I explained to her that we didn't utilize any weekend facilities but that I had sent her an email that morning with a site suggestion. Ms. [redacted] stated "I want weekend hours and you are giving them to everyone else". She stated she saw another student at an externship site on the weekend. I explained to her that the student is attending the externship Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm and had been approached by the health care provider to return on Saturday. The other student was not placed by me or my facility for the Saturday hours. I have a statement from the Doctor verifying this fact. Ms. [redacted] was very argumentative, speaking in a loud tone, and using profanity. I told Ms. [redacted] that we could talk about this after class and that the conversation was done. She continued to speak loudly and use profanity in the classroom. There were approximately 12 other students and individuals in the room. I attempted to resume class and Ms. [redacted] continued to be disruptive. She was loud, slamming things on the desk, and using profanity directed at me. I asked her to stop and when she refused, I asked her to leave. I have worked with every student to get them their externship hours. All of the other students have adjusted their work schedules to accommodate the daytime hours during the week. I was unable to work with Ms. [redacted]'s request due to her limited availability. She was aware of the policy and the required hours to complete the program prior to the start of the program and reminded throughout the program. I have her signed statements that verify her understanding of the course requirements and policies. I have tried extensively to work with Ms. [redacted] throughout the program. However, her requests exceeded what was available to the students. All of the other students have made sacrifices to participate in the externship during the week day hours as stated in the course outline. Ms. [redacted] is receiving financial assistance and has not paid for the class in full. She currently has an outstanding balance. Proof of payment is available upon request. Ms. [redacted] received all of the same considerations as all of the students. There was no favoritism given by myself or the facility. I have statements from other students who verify that I have been working with them to obtain clinical externships. I also have statements from individuals who were in attendance the evening Ms. [redacted] was excused from the building verifying her disruptive behavior and use of profanity in the classroom setting.Ms. [redacted] is welcome to finish the course if she adheres to the school's policies, provides a written letter of apology, and pays for her class in full.

I took the Medical Assistant course. This is a great school and I highly recommend it!! As for the negative reviews, my personal opinion, I feel like you have to be ready to learn and want to learn. There is alot of information and as an adult that is in a collage program you can't be baby fed you have to work on your own to get the full benefits of the program. With saying that the teachers are awesome and always answered any questions I had and I learned ALOT from them. An instructor helped me find my externship at a wonderful doctors office and I was offered a job the day my hours were finished and I accepted the position. I am so glad that I found Caring for Life!!

great school, great teachers and staff, great environment. Can't wait to do more business with this school to further my education
