Caring Hearts Animal Clinic

The service provided by the office staff at Caring Hearts Animal Hospital is poor at best and, based on my experience, the staff put the well being of my pet at risk. I had an appointment scheduled for my dog to have a dental procedure performed. The appointment was made 3 weeks in advance and was noted on the doctors chart that the procedure would be scheduled and performed on 10/16/15.

The morning or 10/16 I aived at the office with my pet, who had had no food or water since midnight. The clerk then informed me that I had no appointment for a procedure for my pet and the only thing she could or was willing to to was to take my pet and "see if she could be worked into the schedule".

The clerk then consulted with the on duty tech, and that tech then advised me that "they would try to work my dog in but there was no guarentee that they would do the procedure". I asked about alowing my pet to sit all day with no food or water, and informed he that she had been without food or water since midnight. The Tech advised me that was the onlly option that was available to me and that they were not responsible for feeding or providing water to the animal.

I asked for my dogs records and the clerk advised me that she would mail those to me at a later time. I insisted that I be provided with my dogs records to which she responded by taking the records and making my copies.

As I reviewed the records from her last visit (9/22/15) the last entry by the Doctor that did the examination was "Dental Scheduled for 10/16/15". This facility s been named incorrectly...there is no "Caring" involved with pets that are treated there. To place my dog at risk, leave her in a cage for 8 to 10 hours with no food or water in inexcusable.

I have moved on to a different provider and would not recommend this business to anyone seeking pet care
