Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My wife and myself are downsizing and wanted to find someone to run an estate sale in our home. When I found Caring Transitions, we thought it might serve our needs! The husband and wife team presented an idea that perhaps we might want to try putting some of our beautiful antique furniture on an auction to see if things would sell! Allen sounded very knowledgeable about antique furniture and claimed people would come from all over the state to see them! My wife and I explained in depth about how much my wife and I wanted for them or would not sell them!! Some of our things were heirlooms and been in my wife,s family for years!!I had to finish up the interview because our puppy was acting poorly so my wife went to tend to our puppyI talked about selling the items with a start bid and they agreed so I signed the contract. Some one came out to take pictures for the auction: my wife was not there at the timeWe thought that since he sent someone out that it wouldn't hurt to take pctues of my wife Antiques as well, thinking we would receive a copy with all the prices we had suggested to Allen! In addition we kept making calls to Allen for clarification on prices, and so forthWe finally get a call stating that everything was sold? What? My wife never signed any contract and he sold her beautiful things without my permission!!An again we kept calling Allen for some clarification and it was clear he was avoiding us on purpose! People started to pick up our things and still no commentsHe avoided us like the plagueEven then I thought that he got the highest price we wanted? Yet, how could he have just sold everything without my wifes permission and without the lowest price we wanted.NothingAbsolutely no communication at all and he came out to greet the buyers and said nothing! We finally got the check for $242!!! Ye sI am not kidding!! My antique Buffet was a piece of which my Wife paid $for! A very old German clock was an heirloom and worth money The buyers knew Allen very well and it was clear they had worked together before, we were deceived and taken advantage ofFeels like a scamWE have obtained a AttorneyNo one should be taken advantage of againThis was a very organized scam and who knows how many individuals were taken advantage of in the pas t and not reported itDo you actually believe that A $would sell for $in an above board auctionThis is an obvious scam Who would think that a company named Caring Transactions would prey on the elderly and vulnerable people Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We always use written agreements when working with clients for just this reason We have attached that agreement to this response During our discussions with the clients ( [redacted] and [redacted] ***), we indicated that the market for Antiques is depressed, but their items would be sold online and the view counts and number of bids would be available in a report This report is also attached At no time did we guarantee a minimum buy price, and neither of the clients asked us to put reserves on the auction; had there been a reserve request, it would have been included in the written document. Please note that the auction process provides for the market to determine an item's value

This buyer lodged the same complaint with PayPal [redacted] ) which was resolved in favor of Caring Transitions (Seller) She just this week lodged the same complaint again with PayPal! The original action happened in December, Unbeknownst to us, the complainant had been banned from the Caring Transitions Auction site in October, 2015, but convinced the corporate office that she would not repeat her actions that caused the original banishment, so of course, the next month, she reverted to type with our auction As she was banned again, she swore she would continue to badger us with her fraudulent complaint Apparently, true to her word We're sorry your organization was pulled into this sordid ordeal Thanks for your patience, and the good work you do

Revdex.com,I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaintFor your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards, [redacted] ____________________ I have in no way committed fraud or any fraudulent act against this business! Someone needs to take responsibility for the improper, unprofessional and unfair business practices of this particular CT Branch! This seller failed to follow through with his end of the contract as a sellerWe spoke via email in which he promised proper shipping of glass and fine china itemsHe insisted that I pay separately for shipping instead of including on my original invoice as and requestedAfter requesting a separate payment he then came up with an astronomicalshipping rate of over $via a phone conversationThen he brought it down to $With this rate he promised to pack said item proper,y, because I asked, so they would jot arrive brokenHe told me he would ship and I didn't hear from him for approximately daysI contacted him, his office and the HQ office, in which EVERYONE said they forwarded a message to himHe still did not respondWhen he finally did he said he had shipped and provided a tracking number which was after Dec I requested the second tracking number, as we had discussed shipping items in two separate boxesWith delay he responded that he'd only sent one box and there was a change of plans Box arrived December Contents were wrapped in nothing but TISSUE PAPERFine china wrapped in tissue paper! He did not include the most sought after, Nippon dishes (3), a few dolls, antique photographs and album were completely omitted!!! When tryin to contact him via the site, he had me blocked!! Why?! I'd paid and had done nothing improper or fraudulent to be blocked!!! He purposely split pay,net because he knew it WOULD NOT be covered via PayPal, even after I'd requested twiceHe refused to provide credit for shipping even though we agreed to two boxes being shipped separated and properlyI receive PD broken China and glassware!!! Which there is proof of and no one wants to hold this branch/guy accountable for his fraudulent actions and violations of CT RULES to hold this guy responsible for his ACTIONS against me!! The HQ nor CT seller practice ETHICAL business and have swindled me! Yet I am being accused of fraud I was banned by another location because another CT seller had the same improper practices; splitting payments and not including shipping so as to avoid repercussions for improper transactions and BULLY the buyer into having to pay astronomical shipping rates plus any other fees the business conjures up! You have to pay for shipping because you want your items to arrive! Someone needs to investigate the improper practices of this WASHINGTON CARING TRANSITIONS Proof has been submitted and this business keeps lying about events that occurred leading up to this claimThey provide information of some sort of violation of policy on my behalf, which never occurred to warrant being blocked or not receiving a refundI called no one promising I wouldn't do anything because the circumstances behind the request for block were uncooperative sellers in regard to including shipping on the same invoice for goods and charging astronomical shipping fees!! This is not a violation to request this CT HAS a few bogus sellers as well as admins and they need to be coached or held responsible when they SHAM a buyer! By the way, I DID NOT reopen another claim with PayPal but if I did why is that a violation if I am not satisfied with the outcome?

These people are the SCAMMERS!! I didn't try anythingThey know nothing of what they speakMy proof confirms the TRUTH! They did not wrap anything properly as pictured in the numerous photos I've sentThey wrapped ALL items in tissue paper! That is not proper!
*Seller DID SPLIT THE COST WHICH IS STATED on my Invioice and PayPalPaypal decided in favor of the business for ONE reason only! That is because they split the transaction!!! Which is NOT coveredThis seller needs to be investigated for improper business practicesYes I probably will file another claim if this is not resolved because this seller is TAKING ADVANTAGE of buyers and committing perjury by trying to diminish my characterI made NO promises to ANYONE regarding anything, let alone any violation with the CT network! I still deal with several sellers from CT so that is a blatant lie.
* Seller is unethical, dishonest and scammed meThey are still telling a lie that payment wasn't split, items were packaged properly and all wins were present when I have submitted photographs contradicting their "story"
This "seller" is no better than a pan handler and behaves as such; scamming people on fraudulent shipping charges and slighting them out of their wins!! The proof is in the documentation and photos I've already submitted twice.
Please hold this business accountable!!

A very old German clock was an heirloom and worth money.    The buyers knew Allen very well and it was clear they had worked together before, we were deceived and taken advantage of. Feels like a scam. WE have obtained a Attorney. No one should be taken advantage of again. Do you actually believe that A $2500 would sell for $53 in an above board auction. This is an obvious scam.  Who would think that a company named Caring Transactions would prey on the elderly and vulnerable people.

Buyer complaint: I purchased several wins from this online Caring Transitions Auction-Alan B[redacted] CRTS Owner. Mr B[redacted] insisted on splitting the costs of shipping and merchandise, in order to avoid any ramifications from PayPal, should the transaction not be properly handled or arrive safely. Mr B[redacted] promised to ship fragile items properly and split shipment into two separate shipments. He threw a portion of my win in one large box with nothing but tissue paper to pad fragile Vintage and Antique Fine China. He excluded a few pieces of my purchase. China and glass items arrived broken and non-repairable. Mr. B[redacted] did not ship several antique photos and large photo album. He refused to accept responsibility and provide a partial refund for damaged goods and did not return phone calls. Mr B[redacted] acted in an unprofessional manner and I would like a partial refund for shipping and merchandise. As it is the proper thing to do.Response:1) Buyer was successful bidder on a number of items in one auction hosted by us.  2) We did not split the costs of shipping merchandise--she paid the entire amount.  I do not know what she's talking about as regards the PayPal ramifications.  We used proper shipping materials and methods--the Vintage and Antique Fine China she is referring to was $3 worth of plates, which were properly packaged.  As far as I know (she could provide no contrary documentation) the box arrived intact.  (3)  We shipped everything she won.  (4)  Buyer was a member of the Caring Transitions Auction network in early Fall, 2015.  After an auction she tried this same scam with another Franchisee of Caring Transitions and was subsequently banned.  Unfortunately, she convinced the Franchisor that she had changed her ways and was allowed access again.  We were unaware that she had been previously banned when she bid on our auction the very next month after reinstatement.  When we banned her after consultation with Caring Transitions corporate office, we were assured she would not be allowed back into the network.  She told the corporate office that she would make every effort to discredit us.(5)  In January 2016 she filed two complaints with PayPal:  [redacted] for $33.48 and [redacted] for $80.10.  These complaints were actually resolved by PayPal in our favor.  That alone amazed us since PayPal rarely comes down on the side of the Seller.(6)  In March 2016 she filed the same two complaints with PayPal: [redacted] for $33.48 and [redacted] for $80.10.(7)  Be advised you can expect her to file additional complaints with you.  Thanks for your interest in this matter.  If you have any additional questions, please contact us.

I have in no way committed fraud or any fraudulent act against this business! Someone needs to take responsibility for the improper, unprofessional and unfair business practices of this particular CT Branch! This seller failed to follow through with his end of the contract as a seller. We spoke via email in which he promised proper shipping of glass and fine china items. He insisted that I pay separately for shipping instead of including on my original invoice as normal and requested. After requesting a separate payment he then came up with an astronomicalshipping rate of over $100 via a phone conversation. Then he brought it down to $80.10. With this rate he promised to pack said item proper,y, because I asked, so they would jot arrive broken. He told me he would ship and I didn't hear from him for approximately 3 days. I contacted him, his office and the HQ office, in which EVERYONE said they forwarded a message to him. He still did not respond. When he finally did he said he had shipped and provided a tracking number which was after Dec 18 2015.
I requested the second tracking number, as we had discussed shipping items in two separate boxes. With delay he responded that he'd only sent one box and there was a change of plans.
Box arrived December 31. Contents were wrapped in nothing but TISSUE PAPER. Fine china wrapped in tissue paper! This buyer lodged the same complaint with PayPal [redacted]) which was resolved in favor of Caring Transitions (Seller).  She just this week lodged the same complaint again with PayPal!  The original action happened in December, 2015.  Unbeknownst to us, the complainant had...

been banned from the Caring Transitions Auction site in October, 2015, but convinced the corporate office that she would not repeat her actions that caused the original banishment, so of course, the next month, she reverted to type with our auction.  As she was banned again, she swore she would continue to badger us with her fraudulent complaint.  Apparently, true to her word.  We're sorry your organization was pulled into this sordid ordeal.  Thanks for your patience, and the good work you do.
