Caring Transitions Of Central Wisconsin Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.“The $10,was just an estimate (not part of the agreement) but because of the unusual job, in the end it was decided to do the job based on an hourly rate and that was what was offered in the contract that was signedWe only charged her EXACTLY what the signed contract includedAttached is the advertising spreadsheet and charges from the disposal company.”In reference to the above rebuttal by *** ***, she sent me the attached letter and proposal of cost for the project three days before I signed the contractI was assured that this would be the final cost of the projectIf this was a project “estimate” as she claims, rather than the total cost of the project, why did she bother to send this to me? I based my decision to hire her on this proposal. We worked closely together for over a month. At no time did she ever tell me that the cost was exceeding the $10,that I agreed to or that it was even a possibilityI did not find out about the extra charges until more than a week after the final saleBy then she had my moneyI feel this was a deliberate attempt to deceive me into signing a contractIf she had no intention of honoring the prior agreement, why did she bother to give me this proposal in writing ahead of time? Why did she not include this in the contract? Any other company that exceeds their cost estimate notifies the client before the work is completed*** never indicated to me that she did not plan to honor the $10,fee, and she had ample opportunity to discuss this with meIn addition, she charged me $per hour for the temporary help she hired to assist her with the projectThese people were unskilled and unqualified, and for the most part *** left me to supervise their work while she was either not on site or in the basement washing and photographing dishesI very much doubt that she would have to pay an agency $per hour for the kind of unskilled labor that she hiredNowhere in her contract did she disclose that she would receive an additional 15% buyer’s premium on the proceeds of the saleThis would have been another thing I would have taken into consideration in my decision to hire herIn addition, she did not meet the deadline of July 29thDue to her own shortcomings, the final sale wasn’t until two weeks laterThe money isn’t as much of an issue as was her deliberate attempt to deceive meI believe when she realized how much income was received from the on line auction and estate sale, she wanted a bigger piece of the pie and decided she could take advantage of meYes, the contract was for $per hour but there is much more to the story than that*** preyed on my vulnerability and the difficult situation I was in for her own greed
Regards,

Caring Transitions of Central WI fulfilled our contract according to the signed agreement which was based on hourly charges and not a flat rate. The client was present during the entire process and was aware of the hours being worked by our teamThe Estimate was based on an initial assessment but as the job progressed, additional work was added to the scope of work such as cleaning out the barn that I understood was lumber only, and all items had to be preapproved by client as to auction, scrap or disposal. …Due to the additional work, we did delay the sale ending time and this was discussed and agreed upon with the client.Agreement was not signed at a flat rate, but an hourly rate. Sincerely, *** S KrautkramerPresident/Owner of CTCW715-443-

Attached is a copy of the signed contact.  Please refer to section 3 and 7.Section 3 refers to our hourly rate to provide you with our services.Section 7 refers to all other fees.Invoice to client shows all income and expenses with a reimbursement check for $575.21 (Check# [redacted])Sales history...

spreadsheet from auction shows all receipts and includes all money received in the Buyer’s Premium as hers. The $10,000. was just an estimate (not part of the agreement) but because of the unusual job, in the end it was decided to do the job based on an hourly rate and that was what was offered in the contract that was signed. We only charged her EXACTLY what the signed contract included. Attached is the advertising spreadsheet and charges from the disposal company. Sincerely, [redacted]President/Owner of CTCW715-443-3051
