Regards,
K*** B***In all due respect, MrS***'s response is a complete fallacyLet me start with some of his defenseHe stated we spoke briefly on the phoneAs previously stated we spoke for over minutes regarding the features of the truckAt that time I purposely questioned him regarding the motor and he stated it was " a new crate motor"He also stated that both gas tanks were operationalI asked this question, as I previously owned this exact truck, purchased new in and know the truck well, and the switch in the gas tank is a common part that goes bad on these trucksThe main tank would not accept gas, as I assume the switch had gone badIn any event MrS*** was not truthful about that eitherHe also stated the truck had over $in new partsThe truck had no new partsThe listing on *** and MrS*** stated the truck had a "New lowering kit/ & drop/new drop spindles, the legal and correct way to lower a truckThe springs were cut in half, by MrS***'s own admission to you in his response, which renders a vehicle unroad worthy, unsafe and illegal, not to mention unregistrable.MrS*** states the *** listing had photos and a videoThere was content in the listing stating that there were pictures but the links to them were broken and could not be accessedThere were pictures that I now realize were either of a different truck or heavily photo shopped, as the truck that was delivered to me was not the same truck that was represented in the *** ad, nor by MrS*** in our phone conversationI did find a video of what MrS*** is saying was the truck he sent to me, on his websiteThe video also looks like it had been altered as it did not show the truck he sent in a true lightThe video looked great and is one of the reason's I decided to purchase the truck, but it sure did not match the vehicle I receivedIn Speaking to MsD*** K*** at the ** ***, I was informed that for the truck to be sold "AS IS" by MrS***, I would have had to sign a document stating I agreed to thatHe told her he had sent the form to me but that he never received it backI, at no time, received such a form, nor even knew that one existedNone the less, the truck that was represented to me and the one that I agreed to purchase was not what I receivedThis is not an issue of "Buyer's Remorse" as MrS*** statedI was excited and anxious to buy and receive this truckI had thought about it for over month's and made the decision based on how the truck was represented to meWhen I received the truck with so many issues that either had not been disclosed, or outright lied about, I was very unhappy.I never did any kind of "Burnout" in the truckThere wasn't enough gas in it to do thatThe local gas station is 1/mile from the house and I drove it there to put gas in it to test the tank which didn't work and to be able to hear the motor runThe truck was at my home, in the presence of my wife and transporters for a total of minutes, not 1-hoursAt no time was I alone with the truck and the accusation that I, in some way vandalized the vehicle or altered it, is ridiculous.I telephoned MrS*** immediately after my inspection and listed my numerous complaints about the vehicleHe said to return the vehicle, and also authorized this with the transporterThey reloaded and hauled the truck offNo threats were made to MrS***There would have been no reason to do soHe agreed to take the truck back and I thought the issue was resolvedIt was he that developed a "seller remorse", and started to harass me, texting he wasn't accepting the truck back, he wouldn't refund my money, etcI have the text messages to prove exactly thatI am happy to make screen shots of them for you to reviewI have no knowledge of MrS***'s religious leanings, nor do I careI was even willing to forgo the $I paid the transporter, because I felt it would just be too much of a hassle to recover, but now since he back peddled, lied and reneged on the deal, I feel I should be made whole, as I am not responsible for his unsavory and dishonest business practices. My wife is a year *** *** on *** and has sold many vehicles and motorcycles for consignees on *** without ever having any type of issueI expected a dealer to have the same level of professionalismThis has been a huge disappointmentAt this point I feel MrS*** is grasping at straws making the accusations he has, because he has spent my money and doesn't want to return it, but he has the truck at his place of business, as he agreed to and he is free to resell itI expect a full refund of $19320, the total monies spent. Most RespectfullyK*** B***

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me. Attached you will find the link to the [redacted] ad stating as is, the consumer affairs case # as well as my response. Thanks. [redacted]
[redacted] response: on...

january 31st 2018 k[redacted] b[redacted] purchased a 1986 chevrolet silverado c10 from me on [redacted]. I breifly spoke to him on the phone before accepting his offer of 12000. he stated that he had be looking and watching the truck for over 2 months before deciding to purhcase it. the reason on why he puchased my truck is because it already had a lot of things done to it that he wanted to do, minus a new paint job. he said his plan was to drive it like it was until he could get it painted. never at any point during the months of him looking at the truck did he email or call with any questions. the truck was listed with 45 pictures along with an hd video of the truck on [redacted]. in these 45 pics and video, every flaw with the truck was evident and clear. that is why I take some many pictures and videos so there are no surprises. when the truck was delivered k[redacted] b[redacted] unloaded the truck, did a burnout in front of the transporter and then took off down the road. he then went and filled it up with fuel. if you are so unhappy with it why unload it and go fill it up with gas? after 1-2hrs later he says he is unhappy with the truck. his complaint was that it has a fist sized rust hole in the corner of the cab. there is a spot there that is more quarter sized not a fist. anyway, it was clearly evident in the the 45 pictures on the listing and visible in the video. he also stated in his complaint that the paint was peeling. once again no surprise there. not only did we discuss the paint, it was well documented in the [redacted] listing. he also stated in his complaint that it was listed with a "brand new crate motor". that is also another lie and a desperate attempt by mr b[redacted] to defame me. as you can see in the attached copy of the [redacted] listed that he sent, it is stated to have a crate motor. nowhere does it say "new" or anything to be interpreted as such. the motor was replaced in 1996 with a oem style crate motor from gm. the suspension has been lowered as mentioned in the ad. k[redacted] complained that the springs have been cut, well that is how you lower a truck to your desired height. k[redacted] b[redacted] asked the transporter if he would go get another truck that he found and that he liked better. this is nothing more than a case of buyers remorse. I have nothing but perfect reviews online and that is very important to me. I always want my clients to be happy and always go above and beyond to make sure that happens. I told him if he was unhappy that he could return it. he continued to yell and use profanity with me. telling me that he wanted me to burn in Hl and that I was a liar. he even went as far as mocking my religion and saying since I was going to steal his money to give my 10 to my church! I then told him if he wanted me to accept the truck back, that he must stop using this language and stop the threats that I have pages of text messages from to him to prove. I also told him that if he left me any negative feedback or reviews online I would be forced to withdraw the favor of letting him return a vehicle that was purchased AS-IS! he then went online and left 5 negative reviews on [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], etc. that is when I told him that I no longer want to speak to him and to please stop harrassing and threating me. that didnt work, he continued daily to harrass. he told me he was still going to send the truck back after I told him not to friday feb 16th 2018. the truck then sat in CT for over a week before it shipped back to SC. when the truck arrived I already had [redacted] county sherriff's dept here waiting with me. Deputy S[redacted] watched as they unloaded the truck and parked it outside my building on the side. I did not accept nor sign for the return and the driver left the keys in the truck. k[redacted] said I physically stopped the transporter from leaving the key in a drop box. I do not even have a drop box! and the sherriff here witnessing the drop. that case is [redacted]. also, the transporter that dropped the truck off told me he had to stop after he loaded it and put new bolts in the rear suspension. the suspension was not like that when it left and k[redacted] b[redacted] took stuff apart and vandalized the truck while in his possession. that is just what I can physically see. what else has been done to the motor or put in the gas tank by mr b[redacted]? the truck will be reported to the police as an abandoned vehicle. I tried and tried to make this client happy but nothing would work. this truck was purchased AS-IS and needs to be picked up or transported away from here. below is the contract and listing details from [redacted] that k[redacted] b[redacted] agreed to and therefore entered into upon making the offer and purchase through [redacted]:"This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle."i have recorded phone calls and pages of text messages to prove my case in its entirety.
